New Vivo Y17s Launched With 50-Megapixel Camera

On Monday, Vivo Y17s debuted in India. The phone has a MediaTek Helio P35 CPU with a 5,000 battery, much as the entry-level Vivo V17 model that was introduced in the nation in April 2019. Two color variations and two storage sizes are available for the MediaTek Helio octa-core-powered Vivo Y17s. There are two cameras on the back of the phone, and it has an IP54 certification.

The Vivo Y17s has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen that can show 1,612 x 720 pixels at 60 frames per second. The smartphone supports two nano SIM cards, and it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 system-on-chip (SoC), an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processing unit (GPU), 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, and it comes preloaded with FuntouchOS 13, which is based on Android 13.

When it comes to photography, it has a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A waterdrop notch in the middle of the screen houses the 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Vivo Y17s has a USB Type-C connection for wired fast charging at 15W. The phone’s battery capacity is 5,000 mAh. The smartphone has a number of different wireless networking options, including 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and FM Radio. It is dustproof and waterproof to an IP54 standard and has a 3.5mm connector for headphones. One of its security features is a fingerprint reader on one of its sides.

In India, the 4GB + 64GB version of the Vivo Y17s costs Rs. 11,499, while the 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 12,499. The device went on sale on October 2 and can be purchased via Amazon, Flipkart, the Vivo website, and other Vivo partner retailers both online and offline. You can get it in both Forest Green and Glitter Purple.
