The starting price of the new Nio Phone in China is less than CNY 7,500 (about Rs. 85,200). The company’s first smartphone is available in seven colors and three RAM/storage configurations. Currently, the phone can be seen advertised on the Nio China website, complete with its design, specs, and pricing. The device has a 5,200 mAh battery and can be charged at 66W through wired fast charging or 50W wireless flash charging. The 6.81-inch OLED display can refresh at 120 hertz.
Nio Phone Features and Specs
The Nio Phone supports two SIM cards and comes preinstalled with the manufacturer’s skin, SkyUI. The 6.81-inch OLED display on this phone can refresh at 120 frames per second and has a 2K resolution. It’s HDR10+-certified and has a peak brightness of 1800 nits. A selfie camera is housed in a hole punched into the top center of the screen.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which supports up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is the brains of the device. The Nio Phone has three cameras located on the back, with the main one being a 50 megapixel Sony IMX707 sensor. Interestingly, both of the secondary back cameras are 50-megapixel units, with one boasting optical image stabilization and the other a 2.8x optical zoom. According to the manufacturer, all three cameras may function as primary camera sensors.
The phone is powered by a 5,200mAh battery that can be charged through 66W rapid wired charging or 50W wireless flash charging.
In addition to these features, the Nio Phone has a dedicated automobile control key on the left side of the device. Users will be able to operate the vehicle from afar with its aid. The device gets its juice from a hybrid of Bluetooth Low Energy and Ultra-Wideband.
Nio Phone Price and Availability
The Nio Phone comes in three different RAM and storage combinations, with prices ranging from CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 73,800) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model to CNY 6,899 (about Rs. 78,350) for the 12GB RAM + 1TB storage variation to CNY 7,499 (roughly Rs. 85,200) for the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage option. The handset is available in seven different colors: Edelweiss White, Yuan Shan Dai (Chinese for “star green”), Star Green, Mirror Empty Powder (Chinese for “Hemisphere Blue”), Star Gray, Star Ink Blue, and Star Gray.
