Nubia has launched the latest flagship Android phone named as Nubia X in China on Wednesday. Nubia X sports two touch screen display, one on the front and another one on the rear. The phone has dual cameras and two fingerprint scanner on either side of the smartphone which can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds.
The Nubia X features a dual display and comes with 7000-series aviation grade aluminum frame. The primary display on the phone is a 6.26-inch Full HD+ resolution with 2280 x 1080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.6 percent. Perfect for online slots or most other video games. On the rear side display, it is a 5.1-inch HD+ resolution with 1520 x 720 pixels AMOLED panel. The secondary screen comes with features like eye protection mode and Always on Display. Both the primary and the secondary displays support 96% NTSC color gamut.
The Nubia X is powered by a second generation Snapdragon 845 chipset and runs the company’s Nubia UI 6.0 X based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone comes in three storage options – 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, 8GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The device doesn’t have slot for microSD card.
The smartphone is driven by a 3800mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. With 5-percent battery life remaining in the ultra-low power mode, it can function for up to 3 hours. Nubia X comes with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB and 3.5mm audio jack. dual fingerprint scanners which are side-mounted.
The Nubia X features f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel and f/1.7 aperture 24-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The dual camera offer features like HDR, AI portrait mode, AI scene recognition, dual pixel PDAF, 240fps slow-motion video recording, dual tone LED flash and for capturing brighter selfies, it features a large-size softlight LED. It makes use of the same camera setup as selfie shooters with viewfinder visible on the secondary display.
The pricing of the different variants of the Nubia X are 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage and at 3,299 Yuan (~$473) and 3,399 Yuan (~$487) respectively.
