Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 And Galaxy Z Fold5 Launched In India

On Wednesday, Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 . Both a standard and a Classic version of the Watch 6 are available. There were three different tablets available: the basic, the plus, and the extreme. The Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul was where all the new gadgets were unveiled. Following in their predecessors’ footsteps are the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Both of these new phones operate on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 system-on-chip (SoC) and Android 13.1 with the OneUI 5.1.1 skin.

There are similarities and distinctions between the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Here, we take a look at the differences between the two Samsung foldable smartphones that have just been released.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 Features and Specs

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 includes a 7.6-inch QXGA+ (2,176 x 1,812 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex panel and a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (2,316 x 904 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the cover screen, both of which can refresh at up to 120 frames per second. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 6.7-inch main display with full-HD+ (1,080×2,640 pixels) resolution on Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex technology and a 3.4-inch outer display on Super AMOLED.

The smartphones use an octa-core version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for processing power. The notebook, which folds like a book, has 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The clamshell foldable can hold up to 512GB of data, and it features 8GB of RAM. Both have OneUI 5.1.1, which is based on Android 13.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has three different cameras: one with 50 megapixels, one with 12 megapixels and an ultra-wide-angle lens, and one with 10 megapixels and a telephoto lens. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is equipped with dual 12-megapixel cameras. Each of the front-facing cameras on the phones is 10 megapixels. The Fold 5 has a second, 4-megapixel camera hidden behind the screen.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 has unfolded dimensions of 129.9 x 154.9 x 6.1 mm and a weight of 253 g, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has same dimensions folded into 71.9 x 85.1 x 15.1 mm and a weight of 187 g. The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 are 67.1 x 154.9 x 13.4 mm when folded, while those of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 are 71.9 x 165.1 x 6.9 mm.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 4,400 mAh battery and is compatible with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, Wireless PowerShare, and 25W wired fast charging. The Flip 5 also has a rechargeable battery, however it has a smaller capacity at 3,700mAh. The phones can connect to the internet through 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/A-GPS, Near Field Communication (NFC), and a USB Type-C connection.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 Price and Availability

The 12GB + 256GB configuration of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 begins at Rs. 1,54,999. For 1,64,999 and 1,84,999, you can get the 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 1TB configurations, respectively.

The 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB versions of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 are priced at Rs. 99,999 and Rs. 1,09,999, respectively.

The book-style foldable comes in Cream, Icy Blue, and Phantom Black, while the smartphone comes in Blue and Grey, but only on the company’s website. The Galaxy Z Flip 5, on the other hand, comes in a variety of colours, including blue, cream, graphite, grey, green, lavender, mint, and yellow.
