The Sony WF-C700N are the company’s first truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, and they’ve just been released in India. Toggle between active noise cancellation (ANC) and ambient sound modes with the new TWS headset’s convenient on-board controls. It also has a novel wind noise reduction mechanism that supposedly makes phone conversations sound better. With the supplied case, the earbuds are said to provide up to 15 hours of playback time. According to Sony, the WF-C700N is water and sweat resistant to the IPX4 standard.

The Sony WF-C700N TWS headset has a 5mm driver unit and is compatible with both ANC and ambient noise settings. Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound Personaliser app is compatible, and it has been validated for use with 360-degree audio. Focus on Chat also allows you to communicate while wearing headphones. It also works with Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) to boost the quality of compressed audio files.
The Sony WF-C700N TWS headset can be used to take calls from a linked smartphone, much like a number of other TWS earbuds on the market. The mesh construction of both earbuds is meant to reduce exposure to wind noise. Sony claims that the WF-C700N can connect to two devices at once with its support for multipoint connection.
The Sony WF-C700N is a Bluetooth 5.2 headset with features such as a low-latency mode for watching movies, rapid pairing with Android devices, and Swift-Pair compatibility with Windows 11 and Windows 10 PCs. The SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs are supported for audio and video playback respectively. In addition, one earpiece may be used for listening while the other is charging, as claimed by Sony.
The recently released Sony WF-C700N TWS headphones have a maximum battery life of 7.5 hours (10 hours with ANC off) and an extra 7.5 hours when using the charging case. According to Sony, a 10-minute charge provides an hour of playtime. The IPX4 grade means that the earphones can withstand some water and perspiration. The Sony WF-C700N TWS headset, according to the firm, is compatible with voice commands through Google Assistant or Siri on an associated Android or iPhone.

The TWS earbuds, model number Sony WF-C700N, will be available in India on July 15 through Sony retail shops, the ShopatSC website, and major online retailers for a price of Rs. 8,990. Black, Purple, Sage Green, and White colour variations will be made available for the headset.
