Sunbird App Brings Unified Messaging with iMessage on Android to India

Sunbird Messaging, the latest Android unified messaging software, targets Indian customers to build its waitlist.

Sunbird reported over 100K waiting signups. We aim to address customers’ unique messaging requirements in every corner of the globe, beginning with India’, says Sunbird Messaging CEO Danny Mizrahi. “In addition to getting iMessage on Android phones, every country and region has unique messaging preferences, and we want to build an all-in-one app that works as universally as possible,” he says.

Sunbird App Will Provide Android Users with the Following

New Android-Apple Security Encryption

Android users must visit sunbirdapp.com to join the queue. The app will arrive in beta on Google Play this summer.

Businessofapps.com reported 2.5 billion Android users in 190 countries in February 2023. Sunbird is raising awareness in specific areas and nations, beginning with India.

“Sunbird is needed everywhere Android and iPhone users communicate,” says Mizrahi. “We aim to solve long-standing messaging challenges between devices once and for all, but that’s just the beginning,” he says.

Sunbird promotes secure texting. Mizrahi said Sunbird does not keep encrypted text communications. Sunbird adds a further degree of protection by encrypting text messages between iPhones and Androids.

5% of 100k waiting signups are alpha-testing the app. Sunbird started alpha-testing flights in late December 2022 and is approaching 100% success for iMessage on Android. Sunbird will continue alpha-testing with thousands of waiting for users through April.

Mizrahi said alpha-testing is working well and providing insights into product development and expansion strategy. “Sunbird requires Android users to have an active Apple ID, and numerous alpha-testers are using their Apple ID to sign up for Apple TV subscriptions for the first time,” Mizrahi says.

Sunbird plans a late Summer 2023 Android test launch of iMessage with 100% success for all users. Beta launch details are forthcoming.
