On Saturday, Tecno introduced the Camon 20, the Camon 20 Pro 5G, and the Camon 20 Premier 5G. The latest lineup of smartphones has AMOLED screens and MediaTek chipsets. While the main camera on the Tecno Camon 20 and Tecno Camon 20 Pro is both 64 megapixels, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G has a 50 megapixel sensor. The batteries in all three of these smartphones clock in at 5,000mAh. The business has not yet released information on when or how much the more costly Camon 20 Premier 5G will cost.
Specifications for the Tecno Camon 20 and the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G
There isn’t much of a difference between the Tecno Camon 20 and the Camon 20 Pro 5G in terms of specs. They have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and support twin SIM (Nano) cards. The Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has a main camera that’s 64 megapixels in resolution, a secondary camera that’s 2 megapixels in resolution, and a depth sensor that’s also 2 megapixels in resolution. These smartphones include a 32 megapixel camera on the front for taking selfies and video chatting.
The maximum storage capacity of each phone is 256GB. The device has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector for connectivity. In the same vein, the Tecno Camon 2 Pro 5G is 5G-ready. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, electronic compass, and ambient light detector.
The Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G both have batteries that are 5,000mAh in size and can be charged through a 33W cable connection. The Tecno Camon 20 comes with a charger that provides 18W, which is worth mentioning. Both of these mobile devices support fingerprint scanning using an in-screen reader. Compared to the Camon 20 Pro 5G, which measures 162.66×75.89×7.79mm, the Tecno Camon 20 measures a more compact 162.71×75.89×7.82mm.
Features of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G
The 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display on the newly unveiled Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G has a refresh rate of 120Hz and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC. The phone has 512GB of storage space and 8GB of RAM.
The device has a 50-megapixel RGBW main camera with sensor-shift optical image stabilisation and a 108-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera on the back for taking pictures and recording video. This Tecno Camon 20 model has the same 32-megapixel front shooter as the other two phones in the line. In addition, it has a 45W wired charging capability and a 5,000mAh battery.
Price and availability in India of the Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier 5G
With a starting price of Rs.14,999, the Tecno Camon 20 is now available in India in Glacier Glow, Predawn Black, and Serenity Blue with a single RAM/storage configuration of 8GB + 256GB. The 8GB + 128GB version of the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G costs Rs. 19,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 21,999. In the second week of June, both handsets will be available for purchase in India in Dark Welkin and Serenity Blue colour options.
The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G will be released in India at the end of June, according to the company, although price, availability, and colour choices have not yet been confirmed.
