The Stunning "FUJIFILM GFX100 II" Launched At Broadcast India Show 2023

The magnificent “FUJIFILM GFX100 II” was released in India today by photography technology pioneer FUJIFILM. Camera is the newest member of the GFX Series of mirrorless digital cameras and was introduced at Broadcast India Show 2023 at the JIO World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The flagship model boasts the highest burst-shooting, AF, and video performance in the GFX Series thanks to a newly developed 102MP high-speed image sensor called the “GFX 102MP CMOS II HS” and a high-speed image processing engine called the “X-Processor 5”.

The FUJIFILM GFX100 II large format sensor allows for exceptional photos. It’s the first GFX Series camera to have a predictive AF algorithm and artificial intelligence-based subject-detection AF, both of which were created using Deep Learning technology. As a result, the new sensor also has much improved video capturing capabilities. The FUJIFILM GFX100 II is also the first camera in the GFX Series to internally record 8K/30P video and 4K/60P 4:2:2 10-bit video. It also supports video recording in many formats, such as Premista, 35mm, and anamorphic (35mm) with the mount adapter, thanks to its new “Video Format” settings.

The camera’s body has an Ethernet connector as well as HDMI Type A and USB-C connections, greatly facilitating the use of a wide variety of optional peripherals. In addition, the updated model expands the GFX Series’ horizons with significant enhancements to burst mode speed (up to an astonishing 8.0 frames per second) and stabilization capabilities (up to an improved eight-stop, five-axis system). The camera’s ergonomic design also makes it easy to hold and use for extended periods of time.

Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India saidTo that end, we at FUJIFILM India work tirelessly to inject fresh energy into the age-old practice of visual storytelling. The goal of the new GFX series of cameras is to advance the state of the art in terms of picture quality. Our goal is to have this flagship model be the one that professional photographers and content creators all throughout the nation turn to. High-speed performance, enhanced video capabilities, and artificial intelligence-based topic identification are just a few of the features that have made the GFX100 II the go-to camera for pros.

Photographer and FUJIFILM GFX100 II India X-Ambassador Dabboo Ratnani extolled the virtues of the brand-new GFX 100 II. After using the camera for 10 days, I can say that the 102MP BSI CMOS medium format sensor, the AI-derived topic recognition AF system, the 8EV in-body image stabilization, and the 8fps continuous shooting rate were the features that most impressed me. 8K and anamorphic support, direct record to SSD, and camera to cloud are just some of the other available video possibilities. On a single charge, the NP-W235 battery allows for around 540 frames, or 60 minutes of 4K30p recording time. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this feature-packed camera performed.

Acclaimed cinematographer Aseem Bajaj has declared his intention to use Fujifilm’s brand new FUJIFILM GFX100 II camera to create a short film. “Its advanced video capabilities, including 8K and anamorphic support, will bring a new dimension to storytelling,” Aseem said of the FUJIFILM GFX100 II. The camera’s direct recording to SSD and compatibility with cloud storage will facilitate a streamlined production process. I can’t wait to show the finished short film to an audience shot with the GFX 100 II.

Significant improvements in picture quality and refined video capabilities are among the goals of the FUJIFILM GFX100 II. FUJIFILM India is committed to redefining possibilities in the ever-evolving realm of imaging and photography because it believes that every picture tells a story.
