Vivo’s newest ‘Y-series’ smartphone, the Vivo Y36, has been released in India. It has a 6.64-inch Full HD+ 90Hz display and a Snapdragon 680 system-on-a-chip. It has a 5000mAh battery, a 16MP front-facing camera, a 50MP rear-facing camera, and 8GB of RAM.

The 6.64-inch LCD screen on the Vivo Y36 has a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 by 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 frames per second, and a maximum brightness of 650 nits. The phone comes with Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13.
The Adreno 610 GPU and Octa-Core Snapdragon 680 CPU are included. The device includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card may be used to add up to 1TB to the device’s internal storage. The smartphone may have an extra 8GB of RAM thanks to the expanded RAM 3.0 capability.
There is a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor at the back. Selfies may be taken using the phone’s 16-megapixel front camera. Photo, Night, Portrait, Video, High Resolution, Pano, Live Photo, Slow-Mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, Documents, and Double Exposure are just few of the settings available in the camera app.
The fingerprint reader is located on the phone’s side. In addition to USB Type-C, the Vivo Y36 supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5Ghz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/QZSS, and more. It has a 44W quick charging capability and a 5000mAh battery.
The dust and water resistance of the Vivo Y36 is rated at IP54. It weighs 202g and has dimensions of 164.06mm 76.17mm 8.07mm. The phone is available in either a vibrant gold or meteor black finish.
