Xiaomi has always been amongst the first OEMs to introduce Qualcomm’s latest hardware in its phones. Xiaomi recently launched Mi 6X in China. As per current Xiaomi Mi 7 leak and the recently spotted render on Weibo, it is said that Xiaomi will soon launch one more product in its MI series i.e. the MI 7X which is supposed to be a successor of MI 6X. Although the launch of MI 7X has not been official yet this smartphone is expected to feature in top-of-the-line hardware within a price range of 500 USD.
The Weibo poster blurts out a lot about the Xiaomi’s new smartphone. On viewing the poster and reports on the internet, this device is supposed to be the first phone to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SOC and might have 8 GB of RAM. It may also have a 5.65-inches display with full HD+ resolution. Talking about its cameras, the phone might have a 16 MP dual camera setup at the back. The technology used by the device is supposed to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, face recognition and an iPhone X like notch display. The device is also expected to be backed up by a 4000 mAh battery.
As the company has officially stated nothing about the launch of its upcoming smartphone it is too early to predict its launch in India but according to rumors on the internet, the device is supposed to launch on May 23. Also, after the launch of the 3GB RAM variant of Mi 5 priced at Rs. 24,999; it was facing a tough competition by the One Plus 3T, therefore the company didn’t launch Mi 6X in India last year. Let’s hope this time Xiaomi new smartphone manages to undercut all its rivals and can make through the Indian markets.
