On Tuesday, Xiaomi introduced the new Xiaomi Pad 6 in India. The business introduced the tablet, which has an 11-inch LCD screen, to the Chinese market earlier this year. It operates on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Xiaomi Pad 6 has both a back camera with 13 megapixels and a front-facing camera with 8 megapixels. This tablet’s battery supposedly lasts for more than two days on a single charge.

The recently released Xiaomi Pad 6 comes with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13. Screen refresh rates of 30, 48, 50, 60, 90, 120, and 144 hertz are listed as being possible by Xiaomi.

The new Xiaomi tablet is driven by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Xiaomi Pad 6 has a 13-megapixel back camera for taking pictures and recording video. The front-facing camera on this tablet is 8 megapixels and boasts a 105-degree viewing angle, making it ideal for group selfies and video calls.

The tablet has a quad speaker configuration and is compatible with Dolby Atmos. The Xiaomi Pad 6 has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C connector for connecting to the internet and other devices. An accelerometer, a light sensor, a gyroscope, and a hall sensor are all included. The tablet is compatible with the second-generation Xiaomi Smart Pen and a keyboard attachment.

The 8,840mAh battery within the Xiaomi Pad 6 promises to keep the tablet running for two full days between charges. Xiaomi claims that the tablet can be completely charged in 100 minutes using the tablet’s capability for 33W wired charging. The business also claims the tablet weights 490g and has dimensions of 253.95 x 165.18 x 6.51 mm.

The base model Xiaomi Pad 6 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs. 26,999 in India, while the top-end model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs. 28,999. Graphite Grey and Mist Blue are the two colour choices that will be made available. Both configurations may be purchased at a discounted price of Rs. 23,999 and Rs. 25,999, respectively, by taking advantage of an instant discount offer from ICICI Bank.

Xiaomi claims that beginning on June 21st, the tablet will be available for purchase in India through Amazon, Mi.com, and other retailers.
