The “Customise Your Product” function is Amazon India’s first ever free self-serve product customization option, and it’s accessible on over 10,000 goods across 76 categories. Customers can easily personalise items with this upgraded feature, which gives them with visual design tools and a live, interactive preview of the completed product. Window blinds, blankets, home decor, wall art, signage, furniture, engraved pens, necklaces, water bottles, mugs, clothing, jewellery boxes, golf clubs, phone cases, and notebooks are just some of the items that can be customised by the user.
This functionality taps into the underserved and fragmented market for personalised gifting items in India. The platform increases consumer interaction by giving them a chance to be creative, and it allows for the creation of an infinite number of unique products (such as one-of-a-kind engraved jewellery, ergonomic office chairs in any size, and custom-designed clothes, mugs, and caps for parties, presents, or just swag). It has a variety of ways to record original phrases and photographs to convey joy or sadness. The functionality not only lets consumers choose from a broad range of font styles and colours when adding/engraving text, but also lets them add photographs and personal messages as well as select from any additional modifications the seller offers.
