Coolpad always claims to give high-end flagship quality and features in their budget devices, so as this time with their latest release Coolpad Cool 1 Dual. This time they have given Dual 13MP camera setup and that too in some great effective pricing.

The Coolpad Cool 1 Dual is a device which some up after the joint venture just took up between Coolpad and LeEco, and as of now, there is more LeEco than Coolpad. The whole manufacturing and other things are still under Coolpad, but Cool 1 seems to be much polished when we compare it with LeEco’s Le 2, but still some parts are better in LeEco Le2 will explain it later. Coolpad Cool 1 Dual which is being totally being inspired from LeEco Le2 but still it houses a 3.5mm Audio jack. Due to no 3.5mm Audio Jack on Le 2, there was some great down in sales, but still, it is a great device.

Now starting with the built of the Cool 1 dual, it is made up of all metal back which is surrounded by the plastic windows on the top and bottom. The device still feels the quite high quality and premium, and there is nothing much which you can complain about.

The Sunlight legibility in Cool 1 Dual is fine as well as auto-brightness works perfectly, so no complains regarding the display and its colors. Viewing Angle are good and while watching movies or playing games from odd angle won’t affect you in any way.

Performance

Coolpad Cool 1 Dual is powered by the Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 652 and is supported with a 4GB ram. The price in which the phone is being offered is something amazing. The performance of the phone is quite well and you can almost run any kind high end game or multi task on it with no lag and sluggishness.

There are some of the normal software bugs which can be fixed with next few updates. While playing some of the high end games like GTA San Andreas, Riptide i won’t find any lag or frame drops but while playing Asphalt 8 at very high end setting it to give me few frame drops. While gaming on Cool1 for more than 15 to 20 minutes it heats up a lot. The temperature which i noted was 43 degree that too in Delhi Cold Temperature. Now you can imagine the heat which it produces.
One more thing which i noticed was that you cannot side load the games using obb Folder, I don’t know whether this problem is being faced by me only or by other also I need to re-download all the games from play store to make it work.

Over all, you can do intense multitasking on Coolpad Cool 1 Dual, and you won’t be facing any lag in daily use.

The Dual Camera at the rear is the primarily highlighted feature of the phone. The phone comes with Dual 13MP Camera at its rear. If you are waiting for a phone which is having Dual Camera’s in the budget than this is for you, But wait soon Honor 6x is also going to be showcased with almost same price bracket.

Out of two 13MP cameras on the back, one is having a monochrome sensor, and the other one is an RGB color sensor. When we click an image the data is gathered from both the camera sensors and merge it to get the best shot with some great color and bokeh in it.

The best part of the camera is SLR mode where you can get some really great shots which seem to be like taken from a DSLR. Using this mode, you will get some extra focus effect, and after taking a shot you can even change the focus object by refocusing it. This all can be possible only by having dual 13MP cameras at the back.

The camera application for Cool 1 Dual is also pretty different from LeEco camera app. They have added different features like Pro mode which is a amazing step taken by them, SLR mode, classic mode for Monochrome photos and many more. This phone can record video to up to 4k from rear and from front it can record to up to 1080p.

Selfies taken from Cool 1 Dual also comes up decent. This is want we can expect from a budget device.

Coolpad Cool 1 Dual is loaded with Android Marshmallow 6.0 with a skin of LeEco EUI 5.8. As we all know LeEco UI which is EUI is always smooth and lag free, So as this time, but there are minor lag and small bugs which may affect you in short run like sometimes notification get clear or get hidden automatically. This is a very minor big which can be easily fixed in a new update.

Overall the UI experience is quite good, and with 4GB ram, it works perfectly. This time the only difference in the UI is there is no LeEco Live support, or we can say LeEco content support to it. But you never know what is going to happen in the near future.

Battery

Coolpad Cool 1 Dual comes up with a 4000 mAh battery which gives you some excellent backup so far. We have been running the device with 2 SIM’s and 4G was continuously on with JIO and even after that there were 3 email ID’s which were syncing on a regular basis, different apps and take my words very heavy usage. Even after that more than 25% juice was left till the end of the day. The only drawback was that even after Cool 1 is having LeEco software, still there is no Fast charging support which may be added in the near future after the update. Overall the battery performs really very well.

Verdict

As per my views, i really like the device in built as well design. The phone is perfect in hand grip and won’t slip very easily. The display panel is quite good with some great colors. The camera is the most highlighted part and takes my words it captures superb images, and the battery lasts you quite long.

The only point is that they should also add Fast charging support in it.

Dear blogger. That’s the problem with progress. It consistently brings new unforeseen problems with it. That means that doing the same thing as you used to often simply won’t be enough. You’ve got to do things differently if you don’t want your blog to fall victim to malicious actions.

Expect more hacks of big platforms to come to light

The problem with hacks is that it’s not in the favor of big companies to reveal them as that damages their reputation. And so, expect that more networks have been compromised than you’re aware of. What does that mean?

Well, it means that what you thought was secure probably isn’t. So be very careful what information you share with big networks.

What it also means is that if you haven’t yet updated your passwords you should stop reading this article right now and go right out there and do that!

And when you’re changing the passwords, don’t – for the love of god – use the same ones across different platforms! Because if you do that, then when they manage to hack one of your websites, that means they’ll be able to hack a bunch of them. And that will just add insult to injury.

Everybody and your uncle Jimmy are online now. Many of them have started blogs. Yet others are on Pinterest, Instagram or some other network that’s competing for attention. That means that it’s going to get even harder for you to attract your audience.

To stay relevant in this ever more competitive atmosphere you need to do two things:

Secondly, you’ve got to make sure you know who your target audience is and stick to them. That means, finding your niche and giving them what they want. This is the only way you’ll be able to compete with the big boys, who will have more expertise and far more resources to throw at their market segments.

People will avoid text-only blogs even more

Millennials prefer video. And, with each passing year, they’re a bigger slice of the pie. That means, video is becoming ever more important. So stop it with your text only already! It’s a shrinking market!

Besides, video is getting easier to do. You can shoot them with your phone, edit them with online editors and add animations at the drop of the hat.

As an extra bonus, when you’ve got content that people loved in text form, if you transfer it to video your audience will get to love it again (as well an entirely new slice of the pie).

So make the transition. There really is no reason to drag your feet on this one.

Blogger, get prepared

Yeah, there are a lot of problems out there. That’s what comes of everybody being connected.

Now, you can lament to the gods and pray that nothing will happen. Or you can do something about it and be as prepared as you can be. Will that guarantee you’ll be secure and stay relevant? No, it won’t. But it will at least give you the best chance of mattering next year.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launched in India, prices start from Rs 9999

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has finally introduce their Redmi Note 4 In India. The product will be available from 23rd January on Flipkart.com as well as on their home site mi.com. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor instead of Helio X20, which we have already seen previously.  

The device will be available in three different  RAM options 2GB/3GB/4GB. The device features a full metal unibody design. With 3 Ram variants there will be two types of storage which is also available, 2GB+32GB for Rs. 9,999 , 3GB+32GB for Rs. 10,999 and a higher end model with 4GB+64GB for Rs. 12,999 which is some really awesome pricing. This is what we can expect from Xiaomi.

Now coming to the specification part of the device, it comes with Snapdragon 625 Processor which is backed by a Adreno 506 which is again changed in Indian Variant. The Redmi Note 4 has a beautiful display with a 5.5inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 401Ppi LCD screen, which is also protected via a 2.5D curved glass.

The device is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.0 on top of it and soon Android 7.0 will be available for update. Redmi note 4 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone flash and 5MP front camera. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back. The device is action packed with a 4100mAh battery, to deliver a long-lasting performance.
