We already know that the LeEco’s CEO Jia Yueting is now the new Coolpad’s Chairman. The company has announced together with a new handset as Cool1 in India today. The device is the first variant of the Cool series. The device is priced at 13,999 INR. The device is expected to go on sale from the first week of January on the popular e-commerce websites, as well as the official LeEco Store in.lemall.com.
The Primarily feature in the Cool1 is the 13-megapixel camera lens with aperture f/2.0, which is integrated with a PDAF sensor, a dual tone LED-Flash with 4K recording and 720p slow-mo, also a dual camera setup, it definitely looks promising.
Going to the specification, we have a dual nano sim support running on android 6.0 marshmallow which is based on EUI 5.6, a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS in-cell display with 450-nit brightness and 72 percent NTSC colour gamut. The processor which is used in this is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core (quad-core 1.8GHz Cortex-A72 + quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53) with Adreno 510 GPU.
The front camera is not so bad also, it is an 8-megapixel shooter with an aperture f/2.2 and an 80-degree wide angle lens, for the awesome selfie you take. The dimensions are 152×74.8×8.2mm and weigh 167 grammes. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 8802.1111 as/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The device is available in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colour variants.
