Kolkata saw the 2017 edition of NVIDIA’s Gamer Connect at the Filigree Banquets, Raghunathpur Road today. The third in its kind, this year witnessed a whopping show of more than 1000 gaming enthusiasts. Gamer Connect is a festival of sorts in the making for Indian gamers to bond, get together and witness the latest gaming technologies get the better of them – in short, every gamer’s paradise outside the game itself of course.
This year’s Connect got the guests excited to experience AAA games such as Mass Effect Andromeda, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Among others, a glimpse of LG’s premium range of Gaming Monitor featuring the 21:9 UltraWide curved beauty with 4K-UHD Display was also showcased – as was GeForce’s GTX graphic cards with the latest Pascal architecture.
Participants had a blast getting a first-hand experience of cutting edge feels like Virtual Reality and 4K to reinstate the whole true vibe of the gaming zone. Exhibits included Dell’s latest laptops with GeForce GTX 10-series. The bar has been raised to an all new level in terms of power efficiency and enhanced performance in the world’s fastest-growing gaming platform through the likes of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 1070, 1060 and 1050 GPUs for notebooks. In comparison to previous Maxwell architecture based GPU’s, the new GTX 10-Series for notebooks is all set to surprise users.
