OnePlus 3T Vs OnePlus 3: What’s The Difference? Worth to Upgrade?

OnePlus 3T has been launched, and everyone is asking what’s new in it. The tech giant OnePlus yesterday unveiled the redefined version of the OnePlus 3. Their primary device OnePlus 1, OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 have made much fame globally. On the cutting-edge demand of better specs, OnePlus has now launched the newly redefined version of the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T. The device will be available in two different colors variant Gunmetal and Soft gold.

These are some major difference between the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T.



The previous OnePlus has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 Quad-core Processor, with two cores clocked at 2.15 GHz and two cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. It was also supported by Adreno 530 GPU and had a 6GB of RAM. The new OnePlus 3T has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 Quad-core processor, which has two cores clocked at 2.35 GHz and other two core clocked at 1.6GHz. The device has the same amount of RAM and same GPU, as OnePlus 3.



Regarding camera difference, the OnePlus 3T is now equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera, with and f/2.0 aperture, the front camera itself can record 1080p video. The rear camera is also a 16-megapixel lens with the same aperture and same sensor size. The rear camera also has PDAF and COM as an imaging sensor. The OnePlus 3 in the other hand had an 8-megapixel front shooter.



Since OnePlus devices do not come with an expandable storage slot and they mainly have the same 64 GB onboard memory for storage. The company has now launched two separate variants on the OnePlus 3T. 64 and 128 GB, for your storage problem.



One Plus has also increased the battery size of the new OnePlus 3T. The previous one had 3,000 mAh now it has 3,400 mAh. So, there is more juice in your smartphone for your long-lasting day.


The device will be available for Pre-order in some region, in Europe it is starting from tomorrow. The device will be available after November 28 in other markets, and it will be priced at 417.99 EUR (30,000 INR approx.) for 64 GB and 456 EUR (34,000 INR approx.) for 128GB.

The official announcement for the Indian market is yet to come so that the prices may differ.
