Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Things you Need to Know About

Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Things you need to know about

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has launched and we have to say that we love the new bezel-less display. The device packs some of the best specs in the market and delivers an exemplary performance. As far as we know, the device will have estimated price of 1000 EUR (75,000 INR). It is also expected to be available from September 2017. Let’s talk about the device itself.

The Galaxy Note 8 packs great features and delivers an amazing performance.

  • Camera: The device features an awesome 8MP front camera with f/1.7 aperture. The device also supports autofocus which is combined with the facial recognition technology, OIS, DIS, PDAF. Basically, the front camera is the best selfie camera in the market. The rear camera sports two dual 12 MP lens featuring a f/1.7 and f/2.4 aperture. It also has OIS, PDAF and 2x optical zoom for a better photographic experience.
  • Performance: The Galaxy Note 8 is powered by the new 2.35 GHz Snapdragon 835 processor, which is backed by a 710MHz Adreno 540 GPU and features a 6 GB of RAM. The internal storage is 64/128/256 GB, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. With these specs, we can declare it is going to deliver a pioneering performance.
  • Display: As we know that the bezel-less display is the new dope tech. The Galaxy Note 8 has a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED QHD display, with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2960 and an awesome 522 ppi of pixel density. The device also has an awesome 83% screen to body ratio. It also packs a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a dual Edge to Edge display.
  • Battery: Well, we are not very happy with the battery. The S8 plus, which was a huge smartphone and featured a 3,500 mAh battery was failed to deliver a promising performance rather it was quite satisfactory. To the opposite we expected the Note 8 to have more juice but a reduction of battery capacity has left us speechless. It has a 3,300 mAh battery and like previously Samsung has promised that it can deliver a day-long performance but to be honest, it needed a little bit more juice.
  • Fingerprint sensor: Well, the awkwardly designed fingerprint sensor is still there. We are not sure why Samsung didn’t think to have a separate position for fingerprint sensor after the criticism of Galaxy S8 and S8 plus.
  • More RAM: Earlier Samsung has come up with 4GB RAM Flagship phones but this time you will get more ram to do Multiple tasks at a single time with No lag. It will really open the doors to work continuous without worrying about the RAM cleaning and killing the apps or games. With 6GB of RAM the phone will become more smooth and future proof flagship that everyone is waiting of.
  • S Pen : Without S Pen, Samsung Note Series is incomplete. This time Samsung has improved its S Pen on different level. There is a New feature called Live Messages which let you draw an animated sketch and send it to any app in the format of GIF. Isn’t that great!
