WhatsApp Video Calling Launched on Android ,iOS: Optimised for India’s Connectivity Issues

WhatsApp has started rolling out the video calling feature in India. Just like Skype and duo, the WhatsApp video calling is pretty smooth. The overall experience is great on high-speed data connection like 4G LTE or WiFi. The 4G customers are enjoying the service, without facing any lag. The video calling feature is available to Android, iOS, Windows phone via app update from today.

“We want to make these features available to everyone, not just those who can afford the most expensive new phones or live in countries with the best cellular networks” WhatsApp officials.

The video calling feature was already available in the beta app from past two weeks; the app worked like a charm. The video calls are just as secure as the voice call, and chats were, they are also running on end-to-end encrypted. This service will thus provide a way for people to communicate without fear of getting spied. To video call your friends you need to press the call button on the top right corner of the WhatsApp chat screen, and it will show you the options to choose the call type.

WhatsApp video calling will be available to all users running the latest version of the app, and if you are running a previous version, you are advised to update to the latest one.

That is all for this guys, stay tuned for more update and please subscribe to our YouTube channel.
