Xiaomi Mi Band 8 with 1.62-inch AMOLED Screen and 16 Days Battery Life Launched

Recently, Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 8. The fitness wearable is just one of several new products from the business, including the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone. Many enhancements over earlier models have been included in the new Smart Band.

In addition to improved functionality, the gadget also has a number of aesthetic tweaks, such as new bands and new ways to wear it. Xiaomi released two versions of their smart band: one with NFC and one without.

Mi Band 8 Price in India?

The Mi Band 8 debuted in two colour variants, Light Gold and Bright Black, but is available in a wide range of band types. The base model costs CNY 239 (about Rs. 2,800), while the NFC-enabled model goes for CNY 299.

Mi Band 8 Specifications

The Mi Band 8 includes a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen with a 192×490 resolution, 326 ppi pixel density, and 600 nits of brightness. The fitness band works with devices running Android 6.0 or iOS 12.0.

The Smart Band 8 is a smart health assistant with capabilities including SpO2 monitoring, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and menstrual cycle tracking, and it offers up to 150+ training modes.

The recently released fitness tracker capsule may be worn as a necklace or attached to a shoe with a running clip to serve as running pods. The available strap selections are also more streamlined than previous versions.

In addition to the standard metrics, the professional running mode records and analyses 13 specialised metrics, such as stride frequency, stride length, etc. Among its many possible applications, this design element excels as a “running pod” for professional sports training.

The manufacturer promises up to 16 days of battery life with the included 190mAh battery; however, with the Always-on-Display feature enabled, the device only lasts for around 5 days. The water resistance rating of the Mi Band 8 is 5 ATM.
