The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone in India, The MI Redmi Y1. According to the officials, the device will be selfie exclusively smartphone which will be available only on Flipkart and MI.com. The 8,999 INR device for 3GB and 10,999 INR for 4GB Version and will be available in white,grey and gold colour, which is full metal unibody design.
The device packs some exceptional feature; it comes with a 5.5-inch display, featuring a 1080 X 1920-pixel resolution, which is protected via Corning Gorlilla Glass. Mi Redmi Y1 is being equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, which is powered by an Adreno 505. The device comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card.
Coming to the Front it has a 16-MP camera with a dedicated LED flashlight and a 5 element lens with f/2.0 aperture. The device also has a 13MP camera, which looks great and can also capture time-lapse. Beside it you get a Dual Tone LED Flash and Moving a bit down there is a Fingerprint sensor. The device comes with the latest MIUI 9 based on Android N; out of the box. So far the device has a 3,000 mAh battery, for a day use.
