The most demanded one comes under the economy series, where we need to compromise with the performance because price always comes to be low. But to change the game Asus comes with Asus Vivobook X507. Overall after using the laptop, you cannot even recognize whether it is a budget laptop or not. It is supported by so many cool features which cannot be expected in this price segment laptop. Like fingerprint scanner, premium built and great hardware.

Design and Build
When we ever get any laptop with the budget pricing it always looks to be the deal of cheap and creepy laptops, but this is not the deal with Asus Vivobook X507, as it offers some great design and premium built with the price bracket of 21k. From nowhere you can say that the price and the hardware of the laptops come under 21k. It can easily give the competition to 50k laptops in the market.
The Asus VivoBook X507 comes with the premium plastic body, with almost no flex. If you are going to press the keyboard really very hard you can notice a bit flex which is natural in any high-end laptop also. All over the laptop, we get the properly brushed finish which can give competition to metallic finish laptops. After all, this Asus has still managed to keep the weight of the laptop by 1.68 kg. Now, you can imagine with this hardware and premium finish with the 15.6-inch display they are giving all this in 1.68KG weight.
Some of the users might won’t like the Numpad layout as they have made them really small and not very convenient to use. still, anyone can manage the same with this price.
Ports and Connectivity
Starting with the left side of the laptop we get a DC port, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, LED indicators for power and charging and an exhaust and beside it a microSD card slot, an HDMI port, and finally, a 3.5mm jack. Afterall no issues with any slots.
Coming to the right we get Kensington Lock and a single USB 2.0 port. Rest nothing else in terms of ports. Overall I still think they can add one USB Type-C Port in it.

When we come to connectivity we get all support to Wifi and Bluetooth which are being mandatory to use. Overall you won’t be getting any issue with ports and connectivity.
Display
Another USP of the laptop is its almost bezel-less design in this price. The display comes with nano-edge bezels. Asus VivoBook X507 comes with only 8.1mm thin bezel. Overall the display looks stunning. The display also offers quite high brightness level and you can even use this display in high sunlight without any issue. Asus has also added different display modes which are – Normal, Vivid, Eye Care, and Manual.

Now, this is not enough the display which we get is covered with an anti-glare coating which dismisses the reflections and makes it a worth buy for best display. Watching content like movies will just going to give you an amazing experience. The display is reproducing vivid colors which offer sharp, bright, and great picture quality. Adding to it with matt finish as mentioned above, it also makes the viewing angles great.
Keyboard and Touchpad
The keyboard on Asus VivoBook X507 is pretty darn good, with proper spacing between the keys. The keyboard we get is a chiclet-style keyboard which offers very good typing experience. To add the number pad in this small package the brand has to squeeze down the numpad which might affect some of the users.
The trackpad which we get in on VivoBook X507 works great. We also get a fingerprint sensor inbuilt in the trackpad which is a kind of positive as well as negative point and many users need larger space for travel which might affect the fingerprint sensor placement. Still, the fingerprint sensor works well and with this price, I think no other brand is offering fingerprint in their laptops.
Audio
The speakers we get in budget laptops are always awkwardly placed and same as this time. The speakers in Asus Vivobook X507 is placed in the bottom of the laptop, thus it muffles the sound almost everytime. If you are going to use the laptop on your bed of lap you are not getting proper audio experience. You need to use the laptop on the proper table to get proper audio. Asus can work a bit more on the audio part with this Asus Vivobook X507.
Camera
We cannot expect much with this price range. Asus Vivobook X507 comes with a VGA Web camera. The picture quality is nothing which you can expect still you can manage with Skype calls. Still, with VGA cam we get quite a good refresh rate of the camera. The camera is not good in low light still the display of the laptop will help to give better camera experience while on calls.
Performance
The performance on the Asus VivoBook X507 is just great. The laptop works really well. On paper, we get a Dual-Core Intel i3 processor which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and can be expanded to up to 8GB. We get 1TB of 5400RPM HDD storage that I think would be more than enough for any user.

Coming to the graphics part we get Intel HD Graphics 520 which is good for very normal gaming and editing purpose. Your daily use of normal photoshop, premium pro, and Corel draw will work with this (not for high-end graphical work).
I have tested Counter-Strike: global offensive and it can easily give about 55 to 60 frames while playing.
Battery Life
I think battery we get in budget laptops is quite good as they always come up with minimum hardware with the lowest budget. But Asus Vivobook X507 comes with quite god specs comparing the price bracket.

Battery life on Asus Vivobook X507 will squeeze you till 4.5 hours, which is quite good. Overall it also comes with some fast charging technology which helps to charge the laptop from 0 to 60% in just 50 minutes. Still, I will recommend carrying a charge while on the go as most of the time when the laptop is in performance mode it squeezes the battery on way faster levels.
