Design & Built
Coming to the built part of the phone; here we get great polycarbonate built, with Snapdragon processor and great selfie camera which I think is quite good at the price of Rs. 4,999. The device fits perfectly in your hand.
Starting with the design part; at the front top, we get 13-megapixel Camera setup which is the USP of the phone. Beside it, we get different sensors, earpiece, and nothing much which need to add up over here.
Coming to the lower side we get a 5-inch HD Display which is covered with 2.75D curved glass. Nothing about gorilla glass is being mentioned by the brand. The curve glass gently melds in along with the curved sides, thus making it a joy to hold in the hands without any fatigue. In this price, no other brand is offering 2.75D curve edge on the display.
Coming little bit down we get Back capacitive keys which are printed and won’t light up.
Turning the phone to the downside here we get a primary MIC and a micro USB port which supports OTG and no fast charging.
Coming to the left side of the phone here we get Triple tray slot which supports Dual SIM’s as well as at the same time it supports Micro SD Card up to 128GB.
Turning to the other side we get Volume rockers and power lock key which works quite well on regular usage.
Further moving to the top side of the phone here we get a single vent for a 3.5mm Audio Jack.
Finally coming to the back side of the phone here we get an 8-megapixel camera with a support of Single LED flash. Below that we get a Mobiistar Branding, a primary speaker which is quite loud and nothing much which need to explain over here. The back panel is made up of high-quality plastic and front is made up of glass. In this price, we cannot expect fingerprint sensor to be added.
Display
Display of Mobiistar CQ comes with a 5-inch HD Display with a resolution of 1280 X 720. The display gives you the ratio of 16:9 which means while watching movies you won’t be getting any black bars on the side of the display. The colors on the display are sharp and playing games look great. While watching a movie on to the phone give immense experience. The Sunlight legibility is also good because of its really great brightness. When we compare the brightness with some other phones like Xiaomi Redmi 5A this one works really well in sunlight legibility.

Viewing Angle is good, and blacks are decent enough. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall no complaints with the display.
Performance
The phone comes with the latest Snapdragon processor which is Snapdragon 425 processor which features a 2 GB Ram. This combo makes the device quite good at this price. Out of 16 GB of internal storage, you get about 9.5 GB free after that you can also expand it to up to 128GB as the phone support with dedicated Micro SD Card.
We get Antutu Score of 38206 and these scores on a budget device are good enough for daily usage. With this price, all that they have given is quite good for any normal person. The only thing which I wanted them to add in their device is an orientation sensor, rest can be managed. Still good at this price.
Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. Brand has underclocked the device so that phone get proper battery life and no heating issue, but while playing some very high end games like Pubg, Tekken, Batman, Asphalt extream it will give you lag and frame drops on high setting but while playing the same games on low or medium setting you won’t be getting any issue. I will suggest the brand to add a game mode in the device which will overall the power of GPU and CPU for better gaming and hardware performance.
Camera
Moving on to the cameras on the Mobiistar CQ, the phone comes with a 13MP front-facing camera setup. The photos capture using Mobiistar XQ are quite good in daylight and quite average in low light. Still comparing with any other brand in same price bracket it offers way better image quality and selfie.

Now coming to the back side where we get an 8-megapixel camera. The photos come out quite good when we see the pricing on top. The photos clicked in daylight are quite good but when we transfer the same in low light it gives us noise. Overall in this price, I think the camera quality is above average from the back. Still, I have attached some camera samples from every aspect, hope it will help you to know the camera quality in a better way.

Battery
The battery on the smartphone is packed with a 3020mAh allowing you to sail through an entire day. You can use the device very aggressively still it is not going to affect your battery life, this might be because of proper battery optimization in there UI as well HD display which we are getting in this device. It will take me approx 2 Hours to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger. Battery usage of the device is good.
Still, at this price, nothing more can be expected from a brand.
Verdict
Overall, in this price, I don’t think so any other brand exists with this specification and hardware. Not only this they are providing just amazing offers in combo with Flipkart and JIO. Overall if your budget is around 5,000 INR then just go for it.
