Design & Built

Coming to the built part of the phone; here we get great metal built all over, with two cameras in the front which is the main USP of the phone in this pricing. The back panel is non-removable and gives you premium metal feel all over. The device fits perfectly in your hand and the premiumness of the phone can be seen very easily.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Front-Camera-Techniblogic

Starting with the design part; at the front top, we get Dual Camera setup which is the USP of the phone. We get 13+8-megapixel cameras beside it whole has a whole lot of sensors, LED notification light which is a multi-color notification LED and a single tone LED flash in front. Beside it, we also anet an earpiece and nothing much.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Display-Techniblogic

Coming to the lower side we get a 5.5-inch FHD Display which is covered with 2.5D curved glass. Nothing about gorilla glass is being mentioned by the brand. The curve glass gently melds in along with the curved sides, thus making it a joy to hold in the hands without any fatigue.

Coming little bit down we get Back capacitive keys which are printed and won’t light up.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Micro-USB-Port-Techniblogic

Turning the phone to the downside here we get a properly crafted two speaker grills out of which left one is having a primary speaker output and the right one is having a primary MIC in it, between them houses a micro USB port which supports OTG and no fast charging.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Hybrid-Slot-Techniblogic

Coming to the right side of the phone here we get Power lock key and a Hybrid SIM tray slot, which means we can insert dual SIM’s at the same time or we can insert Single SIM and Micro SD card in it.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Volume-RockersTechniblogic

Turning to the other side here we get volume rockers and nothing much which we need to mention over here.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-MAudio-Jack-Techniblogic

Further moving to the top side of the phone here we get a single vent for secondary noise cancellation MIC and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

Finally coming to the back side of the phone here we get a 13-megapixel camera with a support of Dual Tone LED flash. Below that we get a Fingerprint sensor which works quite well and opens up a lock hardly in 0.1 seconds. I am not having a single complaint regarding fingerprint. The Back Panel is made up of metal and upper and the lower part is made up of plastic which is also used as an antenna.

Display

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Display-Techniblogic

Display of Mobiistar XQ comes with a 5.5-inch FHD Display with a resolution of 1080 X 1980. The display gives you the ratio of 16:9 which means while watching movies you won’t be getting any black bars on the side of the display. The colors on the display are sharp and playing games look great. While watching a movie on to the phone give immense experience. The Sunlight legibility is also good because of its really great brightness. When we compare the brightness with some other phones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 or Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro this one works really well in sunlight legibility.

Also Read:

Viewing Angle is good, and blacks are decent enough. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall no complaints with the display and this kind of display can be seen in high-end devices also.

Performance

The phone comes with the latest Snapdragon processor which is Snapdragon 430 processor which features a 3/4 GB Ram. This combo makes the device quite good at this price. Out of 32 GB of internal storage, you get about 24 GB free after that you can also expand it to up to 128GB as the phone support Hybrid tray for Micro SD Card.

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Benchmarks-Techniblogic

We get Antutu Score of 57086 and these scores on a budget device are good enough for daily usage. With this price, they have given FHD display, dual front camera and all the sensors which are required by any normal person. No sensor is being removed by the brand. We can use this smartphone with a VR headset and even while using GPS it will give you proper accuracy as it also has a magnetic and orientation sensor in it.

Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. Brand has underclocked the device so that phone get proper battery life and no heating issue, but while playing some very high end games like Pubg, Tekken, Batman, Asphalt extream it will give you lag and frame drops on high setting but while playing the same games on medium setting you won’t be getting any issue. One more thing if you can push the GPU further by going into the developer option you can play all those high-end games on high setting without any issue but in long run, it will affect the battery of the device.

Camera

Mobiistar-XQ-Dual-Back-Camera-Techniblogic

Moving on to the cameras on the Mobiistar XQ, the phone comes with a 13MP+8MP dual front-facing camera setup with a single LED flash. The photos capture using Mobiistar XQ are quite good in daylight and quite average in low light. But if we use flash which we get in front it captures proper details. Still, we get quite output compare to Xiaomi Redmi Y1.

Out of two camera’s in front one is a normal camera and another one is a wide angle camera which is best for capturing group selfie. I just loved the wide angle lens as it provides 120-degree wide angle shot without adding any separate lens on top of the device.

Also Read:

Now coming to the back side where we get a 13-megapixel camera which supports the aperture of f2.0. The photos come out quite good when we see the pricing on top. The photos clicked in daylight are quite good but when we transfer the same in low light it gives us noise. Overall in this price, I think the camera quality is above average from the back. Still, I have attached some camera samples from every aspect, hope it will help you to know the camera quality in a better way.

Battery

The battery on the smartphone is packed with a 3000mAh allowing you to sail through an entire day. You can use the device very aggressively still it is not going to affect your battery life, this might be because of proper battery optimization in there UI. It will take me approx 2 Hours 10 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger. Battery usage of the device is good.

Still I expect to have a 4000mAh battery in this phone, still, you will be able to manage it.

Verdict

Overall, if you want a device which is packed with everything, mainly selfie camera and don’t want to spend much on it then this one is meant for you.

I would say:

“Reimagine your Selfie with budget”

Pros

  • Dual Front camera
  • Wide angle front camera
  • Battery Optimization is well
  • No Bloatware
  • Fast Fingerprint
  • Pricing

Cons

  • Old Design
  • No USB Type-C
  • Face unlock can be added
  • A separate Game Mode can be added for gamers
