Mobiistar is a well-known reputed brand in the Vietnam market and always comes with something new and unique there. As Indian market is one of the largest markets for smartphone makers, Mobiistar decided to launch some of their entry-level devices in the Indian market, which comes with quite good specs. With this pricing, they are surely going to give a huge competition to Xiaomi and other Indian Brand available in the market. As per our info, they are planning to launch some other device too which we are not confirmed yet.
As of now, my team has tested Mobiistar XQ and the phone looks promising. Only one thing is to need to be considered which is its price. Mobiistar XQ is going to be a selfie-centric phone because it’s coming with Dual selfie camera and a single rear camera. Overall performance of Dual selfie camera is quite impressive. I just loved the Wide angle Camera which can take some amazing group shots.
As per our information, Mobiistar is going to be a Flipkart exclusive device which means no issue with stocks. We are also expecting Flipkart to offer some Bank offers and cash back. JIO offers can also be present at the time of launch as of now we are not sure about it. The device is going to be launch on 23rd May. So, the most awaited thing about the device is its price and offers.

The front camera is of 16 MP, both rear and front cameras have a f/1.9 aperture with LED flash.
Most of the features are common in both the handsets like they both have facial recognition which turns out to be one of the good features for camera seekers. Connectivity options in both the phones include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Galaxy J6 has 32GB or 64GB of internal storage while Galaxy J8 has 64GB ROM, both can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. Honor the brand which is just too aggressive in the Indian market. They are just launching back to back new devices in Indian market that too with some amazing pricing. A couple of days back they came up with Huawei P20 pro after they launch Honor 10 and now they are up with two new budget devices in the Indian market Honor 7A and Honor 7C.
A per the specs sheet the devices seems to be quite a good option for the price. The only thing which I noticed is
Price and availability
Honor 7A is priced at Rs 8,999Â and it comes in three color options Blue, Black, and Gold. On the other hand, the Honor 7C comes in two variants — 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 9,999 and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 11,999.
One more added thing is that Honor 7C will be available on Amazon whereas the Honor 7A will sell on Flipkart. The Honor 7A will also come in Black, Gold, and Blue color variants. We also get additional cashback offer of Rs 2000 from Reliance Jio on both the smartphones.

Design & Built
Coming to the built part of the phone; here we get great metal built all over. The back panel is non-removable and gives you premium metallic brushed feel all over. The device consists of 5.65″ HD+ Display that feels so handy while using it in a single hand. It fits perfectly in your hand and the premiumness of the phone can be seen very easily.
Starting with the design part; at the front top we get a 13-megapixel camera beside it whole has a whole lot of sensors and a LED notification light which is a multi-color notification LED. Beside it, we also get an earpiece and a Dual Front LED flash which works well while taking a selfie in low light.
Coming to the lower side we get a 5.65-inch HD+ Display which is covered with 2.5D curved glass. Nothing about gorilla glass is being mentioned by the brand. The curve glass gently melds in along with the curved sides, thus making it a joy to hold in the hands without any fatigue.
Coming little bit down we get on screen back keys which we can edit as per our usage by going into the setting panel.
Turning the phone to the downside here we get a properly crafted two speaker grills out of which left one is having a primary speaker output and the right one is having a primary MIC in it, between them houses a micro USB port which supports OTG and no fast charging.
Coming to the right side of the phone here we get Power lock key and a volume rockers which are made up of metal. The power lock key also has a pattern feel on it which add up a small premium feel to the device.
Turning to the other side here we get triple tray slot which means you can add dual SIM’s at the same time you can also insert a MicroSD card that too up to 128 GB.
Further moving to the top side of the phone here we get a single vent for 3.5mm audio jack and nothing much which we need to explain over here.
Finally coming to the back side of the phone here we get a 13-megapixel camera with a support of single tone LED flash. Below that we get a Fingerprint sensor which is quite fast and took about 0.2 seconds to unlock the device. We also get a feature of face unlock which works quite well when we compare the pricing of the device. The back panel is made up of metal and also has a brushed metal finish all over which adds up a premiumness to the phone. The upper part and the lower part of the phone is made up of plastic which is used as network antenna to the device.
Display
Display of Itel S42 comes with a 5.65-inch HD+ Display with a resolution of 720 X 1440. The display gives you the ratio of 18:9, which means we get proper infinity display to watch movies or videos. The colors on the display are sharp and playing games look great. While watching a movie on to the phone give immense experience. The Sunlight legibility is also good because of its really great brightness. When we compare the brightness with some other phones like Xiaomi Redmi 5 this one works really well in sunlight legibility.
Viewing Angle is good, and blacks are decent enough. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall no complaints with the display still I was expecting an FHD+ Display from them.
Performance
The phone comes with the Snapdragon processor which is Snapdragon 425 processor which features a 3 GB Ram. This combo makes the device a decent performer. Out of 16 GB of internal storage, you get about 9.5 GB free after that you can also expand it to up to 128GB as the phone support dedicated tray for Micro SD Card.
We get Antutu Score of 42441 and these scores on a budget device are decent enough to work with. With this screen size and a good camera on the back as well as on the front. The thing which I don’t like the most is that they have removed almost all sensors which are these days necessary for anyone. We only get Accelerometer sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor and sound sensor rest all sensors like gyroscope sensor, orientation sensor, magnetic sensor are being removed by the brand. I think they should have placed gyroscope and orientation sensor in the device which will help users to use VR and Maps in a better way.
Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. In my use, I have not seen any lag or frame drops even in Asphalt 8 extream on high setting. I tried playing PUBG the latest games with high-end specs but found a bit frame drops on it as it only has Adreno 308. Rest, you can play almost every game, you cannot aspect more with price device. In my test, I have not found any heating issue on this device.
Camera
Moving on to the cameras on the Itel S42, the phone comes with a 13MP camera setup with a single LED flash. By the is there anyone who uses flash for photos, it is mostly being used as a torch. The photos capture using Itel S42 is above average but in great lights, you can take some good shots out of it. When the same scenario comes under night it just fails to do so.
Portrait mode on Asus Zenfone Max Pro comes up really good. You get proper focus and proper bokeh effect. In daylight, you will love the camera. One thing which I noticed if you can any premium application the camera will perform way better when we compare the same with the default snapdragon camera application.
Coming to the front-facing camera we again get a 13-megapixel camera with a support of dual single tone flash. The photos that we capture using this selfie camera is above average in normal lighting condition but when we change the same with some good lights than we can get some great shots out of it. Attaching some of the sample photos captured in almost all lighting condition, it will help you to understand the proper camera quality of Itel S42.
Camera Samples
Face Unlock
After an OTA update on Itel S42, we get the feature of face unlock in it, which works quite well in it. I won’t be comparing the same with iPhone X and other Android devices like Oneplus and Vivo but still, it works well in normal light, low light as well as good light. If there is not light it is quite difficult for the software to recognize your face which is not in the case of high-end devices.
Overall at this price you are getting proper face unlock feature than it is a manageable point for anyone using this device.
Battery
The battery on the smartphone is 3000mAh allowing you to sail through an entire day. After that, you’re surely going to need a power bank or a charger. You can use the device very aggressive usage still it will give you the battery life of about 1 day as the display we get is HD and software is optimized according to it. It will take me approx 2 Hours to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger.
Rest, if they can add a 4000mAh Battery, it can be a game changer to them.
Verdict
Overal, if you don’t want the device to be bought from the online market and want proper retailer service from the brand then this device is for you.
A few months ago, we saw Amazon launch Echo Dot in India, which meant that sooner or later we were surely going to see the competition for the same in the market. So, here it is. We found Eufy Genie, an Alexa inspired AI system, which works quite similarly to Amazon Echo Dot but is much cheaper than it. The best thing is, if you have the smart device in your home, you can control all the smart products just by a voice command to Eufy Genie. You can control your air conditioner, your lights, fans, and almost all the products that are connected to the smart system using the latest innovative gadgets.
Eufy comes under the parent company, Anker Innovations, which is a US-based consumer electronics brand. Eufy specializes in creating connected devices and applications for smart household solutions. The brand wants to bridge the gap between the best technology and affordably priced smart home devices with this amazing device.
Eufy Genie does most of the things that Echo Dot does but at a cheaper price. It is available on Amazon at the price of Rs. 3,999, that you can be gotten at a lower price most of the time as it is on sale. Whereas, when we compare the same with Echo Dot, it is priced at Rs. 4,099 that too on sale.
Genie is only one item that we saw available in their broader product series. They also have robotic vacuums and connected lightbulbs. All these Eufy devices can be managed through the smartphone app- EufyHome and can also be controlled just through voice commands.
How it Works
Download and Install the Application Eufy Home from play store or Apple Store.
Click on Add Device and select Eufy Genie.
Connect with Wifi
After that, it will take few seconds to connect and once done, it will start working with your voice command.
Built
Eufy Genie is made in a circular form. On top of the device, we have a rubber finish coating with a proper circular LED light which changes color as per questions and responses. We have volume control on the top, a MIC button, and a reset button if you want to do something manually. Most of the time, these buttons are not required as all the options can be accessed using the phone application.
The Eufy Genie has far-field microphones to hear your commands from across the room, and it also has a built-in speaker which is loud enough to hear the responses. The best part is that we also get the support of a 3.5mm auxiliary jack which lets you connect any speaker using an auxiliary cable. This will, in the end, enhance the sound output of the AI. You can connect the Genie to different music applications and play songs as per your demand through your voice command. A feature that I loved the most.
One thing which I was unable to find, was that we cannot access the messaging or calling features from it. This can be fixed by a small update in the device.
VIDEO COMING SOON
Verdict
Overall if you need a smart AI system in your home and don’t want to spend more on other devices available in the market, then the Eufy Genie is meant for you.
Pros
Great Pricing
Built
Speaker is quite loud
Far Field Microphone make it hear your voice from anywhere in the room
I Loved the LED Light on top of it.
Cons
Built-In Battery will be appreciated
If you Ask “What is Your Name”; it will be stuck in a loop for few seconds.
Need more supported Device in India which can be used with it.
As a well-known and respected brand on the international scene, ASUS consistently releases innovative and distinctive products. Three of their new devices, the ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie, ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie (dual cam version), and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, were introduced to the Indian market a few months ago. Every one of these gadgets focuses on excellent specs at competitive prices.
But still, the company was not able to make their presence back in the market with something unique. So, to finally debut in the market again they came up with Zenfone Max Pro M1 in Indian market which is a very big hit to them. They get a great specification that too in very affordable pricing and also availability. They have given a very big slap to Xiaomi with Zenfone Max Pro M1. So, let’s check it out how Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is going to work in real-world usage.
Coming to the built part of the phone; here we get great metal built all over, with two camera and other sensors in the phone. The back panel is non-removable and gives you premium metal feel all over. The device consists of 5.99″ FHD+ Display that feels so handy while using it in a single hand. It fits perfectly in your hand and the premiumness of the phone can be seen very easily.
Starting with the design part; at the front top we get an 8-megapixel camera beside it whole has a whole lot of sensors and a LED notification light which is a multi-color notification LED. Beside it, we also anet an earpiece and nothing much.
Coming to the lower side we get a 5.99-inch FHD+ Display which is covered with 2.5D curved glass. Nothing about gorilla glass is being mentioned by the brand. The curve glass gently melds in along with the curved sides, thus making it a joy to hold in the hands without any fatigue.
Coming little bit down we get on screen back keys which we can edit as per our usage by going into the setting panel.
Turning the phone to the downside here we get a 3.5mm audio jack which is used to plug earphones and headphones and this is really appreciated they have not removed that precious jack. Besides that, we get a Primary Mic, Micro USB port which also supports OTG. We also get a properly metal crafted speaker which is incredibly loud and we can also increase the volume further by putting the device in a Max-Box which comes free along with the box of the phone.
Coming to the right side of the phone here we get Volume rockers and power lock key. Both the buttons are made up of metal and power lock key also has a pattern feel on it which also get premium and luxury feel to the device while using it.
Turning to the other side here we get a Tripple SIM tray slot which supports Dual Nano Sim at the same time we can even insert a Micro SD card in it.
Further moving to the top side of the phone here we get a single vent for secondary noise cancellation MIC, nothing else which we need to mention over here.
Finally coming to the back side of the phone here we get a 13+5-megapixel camera with a support of single tone LED flash. Below that we get a Fingerprint sensor which is not as fast as I thought it should be. It might be having some software issue due to which it took more than a second to unlock the device. Below that we get ASUS branding and nothing much.
Display
Display of Asus Zenfone Max Pro comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ Display with a resolution of 1080 X 2160. The display gives you the ratio of 18:9, which means we get proper infinity display to watch movies or videos. With this price and features, I think this is going to be a great device to buy. The colors on the display are sharp and playing games look great. While watching a movie on to the phone give immense experience. The Sunlight legibility is also good because of its really great brightness. When we compare the brightness with some other phones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 or Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro this one works really well in sunlight legibility.
Viewing Angle is good, and blacks are decent enough. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall no complaints with the display and this kind of display can be seen in high-end devices also.
Performance
The phone comes with the latest Snapdragon processor which is Snapdragon 636 processor which features a 3/4/6 GB Ram. This combo makes it a top Notch device in this price. This combo makes the device a good performer. Out of 32 GB of internal storage, you get about 23 GB free after that you can also expand it to up to 256GB as the phone support dedicated tray for Micro SD Card.
We get Antutu Score of 113933 and these scores on a budget device are insane. With this screen size and great dual camera at back, they have also given all the sensors which are required by any normal person. No sensor is being removed by the brand. We can use this smartphone with a VR headset and even while using GPS it will give you proper accuracy as it also has a magnetic and orientation sensor in it.
Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. In my use, I have not seen any lag or frame drops even in Asphalt 8 high setting. Every game even in the high-end setting is working well. I tried playing PUBG the latest games with high-end specs and take my words it is working well with no lag and issue. I have tried playing most of the games like Asphalt 8, Shadow Fight 3, Batman, Bully and Adreno 509 GPU with the support of Snapdragon 636 processor work well. I have also not seen any heating issue while long gaming in DELHI, INDIA Temperature.
Camera
Moving on to the cameras on the ZenFone Max Pro, the phone comes with a 13MP+5MP dual camera setup with a single LED flash. By the is there anyone who uses flash for photos, it is mostly being used as a torch. The photos capture using Asus Zenfone Max Pro is quite good when we compare the same with any other smartphone with that budget. The photos came out sharp and clear while captured in daylight. But when the same scenario comes under night it just fails to do so. Still, we cannot compare the same with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro.
Portrait mode on Asus Zenfone Max Pro comes up really good. You get proper focus and proper bokeh effect. In daylight, you will love the camera. One thing which I noticed if you can any premium application the camera will perform way better when we compare the same with the default snapdragon camera application.
Now coming to the best part of the camera, it can record 4K videos. Now, this is insane this price and so many features which we are getting in it. We can even record two types of 4K videos which I think no one has mentioned till now. The video captures on 4K directly handheld arent that stable, which means we need a tripod or a 3-Asis gimble to get some professional shots out of it. The camera does have EIS which works at 1080p. Still, I would say in daily use it will work well for you.
Camera Samples
Battery
The battery on the smartphone is packed with a massive large 5000mAh allowing you to sail through an entire day even I would say more than 2 days very easily. You can use the device very aggressive usage still it is not going to affect your battery life. It will take me approx 2 Hours 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger. Battery usage of the device is good.
You will not find even a single complaint regarding the battery part of this phone.
When we compare the same with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 it took 2: 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% that too with only 4000mAh battery. Now you can imagine the difference.
Connectivity
Asus ZenFone Max Pro is the first phone in the budget which supports Dual Volte 4G support at the same time. The device comes with triple sim tray slot which supports dual 4g sim at the same time with a support of Micro SD card too. Overall in terms of connectivity, we get a 3.5mm audio jack a Micro USB port which also supports OTG, Wifi, and Bluetooth. So, nothing to worry for.
Verdict
Overall, if you want a device which is packed with everything that too at a very aggressive price then this one is surely going to be your dream.
Pros
Dedicated Micro SD Card Slot
Dual SIM is also supported that too Dual VOLTE 4G support
Very Light Weight compare with any other 5000mAh battery device
Dual Back Camera with great bokeh
Battery Optimization is well
Stock android with proper updates promised by brand.
Top notch in performance

Cons
Old Design

Front camera need to be improved

For some companies, using telemetry readers on remote assets represents a way to predict and prevent malfunctions and monitor performance. As such, integrating telemetry technology can lead to a less interrupted service and therefore a more efficient and profitable business. But what are remote telemetry readers and how do they work?
What are Telemetry Readers?
Telemetry readers are, simply speaking, sensors that can gather and transmit different types of data from remote assets. For example, a power company may have junction boxes at hundreds of locations within the geography of their customer base. If the junction boxes are fitted with telemetry readers, they are able to relay information about how the junction boxes are performing, such as how much power is passing through them and the temperature inside them.
The information they gather is transmitted back to a central location, where it can be monitored for efficiency purposes and also to detect problems. The technology can be used in a wide variety of scenarios and integrated into various types of electrical and electronic devices. One German company, for example, has been commissioned to fit telemetry readers to London buses so that the monitoring of exhaust gas treatment systems can be done.
How do Telemetry Readers Work?
Indeed, there are a number of specialist companies, such as Servelec Technologies, who manufacture and distribute telemetry readers. The readers themselves are electronic modules that contain both sensors and transmission technology for radio, infrared, satellite or cable communications.
The units are built from robust materials and circuitry that can withstand being placed in remote and inhospitable environments whilst gathering and relaying the vital information they have been programmed to collect.
The readers work in real time so that the monitoring of any particular device is always up to date and can be acted on as such. The data collected is also stored and therefore it can be analyzed retrospectively to pinpoint any patterns or generic issues related to performance and/or durability of the systems and components it is attached to.
Challenges Faced by Telemetry Technology
The most significant challenges facing telemetry technology are not related to its development or to deploying it. Rather to the resistance of some businesses to share the information with third parties. Overcoming such resistance will leave businesses in the desirable position of being able to collect data that will improve their operations and save them money.
3D technology is nothing new given the fact that different manufacturing industries right from car parts to prosthetics have been actively using it in their production procedure for a long time. It is used for the production of samples and prototypes for mass manufacturing as 3D gives you the opportunity to change the color, size, and shape of an object on the computer with no added cost attached to it. Fashion is one of the major industries where the rising impact of 3D is being increasingly felt.
Right from mass-market production to sending off personalized garments to the shops or have those delivered to home, 3D can be the fashion statement of future. The use of this technology in fashion has been provided further impetus by the advancements in digital designing, material science, and production capabilities. The instances of wearing 3D-printed clothing have already been seen on the Catwalks thanks to the dress of burlesque dancer, Dita Von Teese. High street still has not quite caught up to the trend, but it is only a matter of time.
The most common techniques of utilizing 3D technology in fashion
3D is presently being used in more ways than one, and the heartening news is that more innovative ways are coming up in the years to come. The most common technology behind 3D printing is the FDM, or otherwise known as Fused Deposition Modelling. It is a system where a nozzle deposits layers upon layers of melted filament one upon the other at a temperature that remains constant around 200 degree Celsius. The material that is produced in this way is cost-effective and waterproof along with having high strength and durability. You get to infuse the material with multiple colors to give it any design that you want to.
Another popular method of implementing 3D technology in garments is through panel trammels. It is a method of combining traditional textiles with 3D printed panels. Both traditional textiles and the 3D printed ones have a niche appeal of their own and combining them together can be the next best thing to hit the fashion industry. However, panel trammeling is not without any challenges. One of the major challenges with this method is that the panel needs to be attached well so that it does not come off after a few wears or washes. Researchers are at work to improve the much-needed adhesiveness of the panels by tweaks and tuning up of the printing parameters.
The foremost challenge that 3D poses to the luxury fashion business is counterfeiting and infringement of Intellectual Property Rights. Any luxury fashion house, be it selling clothes or watches, relies heavily on IPR to protect their products and creative ideas in the form of trademarks, copyrights or patents. It goes without saying that if 3D negates IPR protection, it will cause innovation and creativity to suffer and there will be a loss of customer loyalty and brand value.
Presently, the global import of fake goods already stands at over $500 billion a year, and it is predicted the 3D technologies are only going to make this number go up. It is not a far-fetched prediction given how cheap and easily available 3D printers are. The widely available 3D printers can take in the exact specifications and manufacture items like apparels, bags, and jewelry. One of the possible ways out to this problem is the insertion of microchips in the original products, but that is not going to be a long-term solution given the high demand in the market for fake goods.
Evolvement of 3D technology to suit the fashion industry
3D technology need not be refuted or seen as a threat by the fashion industry. In fact, it is something to be embraced and utilized through the right pathways. It is a part of the evolution of fashion whereby the use of new designs and materials are made possible, and the new processes and concepts help in the captivation of more high-end tastes. The luxury brands need to visualize 3D as a way to customize products according to customer’s preference and aid each customer to shine in his/her individuality. The gradual and sudden advent of 3D technology has the potential to lead the luxury brands to give a better shape to their unique image.
However, it is not like 3D technology does not come with its inherent limitations. For instance, it is more suited to hard materials than soft ones, and geometric patterns than organic ones. Also, the 3D printed materials feel too stiff and robust to ensure a high level of comfort. Even after 3D printing, each product needs traditional craftsmanship and manual work to lead it to perfection. The technology, like any others, is not without flaws but you can expect that with more research and study into it, there will be remarkable improvements that will revolutionize fashion industry.
