The new 5G phone is available in either black or white, and it is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The hole punch cutout in the middle of the screen on the Oppo A79 5G’s 6.72-inch full-HD+ display is there for a selfie camera. It has a 50-megapixel dual camera and a 5,000 mAh battery that can be quickly charged using 33W SuperVOOC.
A single charge of the battery is said to be good for up to 26 hours of conversation time. The Oppo A79 5G followed the Oppo A78 5G as a new release. In the market, it will go up against smartphones like the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, the Vivo T2 5G, and the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G.

Xiaomi has yet to confirm when and how the 14 series will be released in India. If you receive messages from an unknown sender, or maybe someone you know but you don’t really want to entertain at the moment due to whatever reason, you can simply “long press” a message and it’ll show you the contents of the message on a pop up window. You can go over all the details of the message and simply close the window when you’re done, and all this without notifying the sender that you have read their text. It sure doesn’t sound like a very nice thing to do, but we all receive those type of texts, right?
Moreover, this feature doesn’t just work on Apple’s messaging app. You can also use the same feature on other messaging applications like Messenger and Instagram DMs. Pretty neat, if I must say.
