The IIT Delhi Campus has the facility of e-rickshaw for the people inside the campus. It helps the students and teachers to reach from one department to another. Though this facility is very special and helpful for others it somewhat gets burdensome for the rickshaw-pullers. But now with the introduction of solar-powered hybrid rickshaws, the job of rickshaw puller gets easy.
Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has also decided to give solar-powered hybrid rickshaw to the rickshaw-pullers at IIT Delhi under a corporate social responsibility initiative. 300- Watt solar panels are used as the roof of the rickshaws. These panels are designed and manufactured by CEL. Throughout the day, these panels are in their charging mode and that it will effectively double the distance that the normal rickshaw used to cover in a day. It only reduces the physical effort of the rickshaw-pullers but also helps them to earn more.
IIT Delhi director, Ram Gopal Rao has also said that “This innovation combines the traditional knowledge and modern technology to create peace among the environment, employment needs and convenience”
Dr Amod Kumar of Sukoon Solutions said that the solar hybrid rickshaw will ultimately Support rickshaw-pullers during acceleration and tough rides. The manufacturer also said that the ideal speed of the solar hybrid rickshaw is 10-15km/hour but the imported motors from China will let the vehicle reach up to 25km. Not only this much when it comes to the cost, An e-rickshaw costs around Rs 1.26 lakh, while a hybrid vehicle is priced for Rs 68,000
The vehicle can only ply inside the campus of IIT Delhi. As these hybrid rickshaws cannot be registered under the Motor vehicle act. Summing up everything, Hybrid rickshaws are one of the best innovation which doesn’t cost much.

Using one can be an important first step in an organization’s journey toward data security and regulatory compliance. However, relying on an HSM to protect certain data means that the security of that data is only as good as the security of the HSM itself. If the HSM is vulnerable, so is your organization’s sensitive data.
Hardware Security Modules are designed to provide built-in physical security protections for technology that needs to perform trusted operations in an untrusted environment. An example of this is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), which is designed to provide bank customers access to their money at a location other than the bank’s premises. These machines are commonly installed on street corners, in gas stations, and other locations.
Despite being located in untrustworthy places, ATMs are trusted to perform extremely sensitive computations. From an ATM, you can check a bank balance and deposit or withdraw money from an account. Even without access to a given account, someone with physical access to the HSM may be able to trick it into dispensing the money that it contains.
This is where a Hardware Security Module becomes invaluable. The HSM holds all of the cryptographic secret keys and performs all of the sensitive operations that determine whether or not money should be dispensed from the machine. Traditional computing systems can be defeated with physical access (due to side-channel and injection vulnerabilities), but HSMs are specifically designed to be immune to physical attack, enabling machines like ATMs to operate in insecure locations.
Why Is HSM Security Important?
HSMs are billed as a self-contained solution for protecting cryptographic secret keys, so people use them as such. With defenses against both physical and technological attacks, HSMs are an ideal storage medium for highly sensitive data.
This makes the security of these devices an extremely high priority. Businesses using them properly may shrug off a breach of other systems since an attacker may only get away with an encrypted copy of sensitive data. However, if they manage to breach the defenses of an HSM, they may be able to steal the cryptographic keys used to protect this data. Under many privacy regulations, the difference between a breach of encrypted data and a breach of unencrypted data (or encrypted data with the associated decryption key) is the difference between a non-event with no reporting requirements and a significant breach that may carry fines in the millions (under GDPR and similar legislation).
Impacts of HSM Vulnerabilities
If an exploitable vulnerability is discovered in a Hardware Security Module, the potential impacts are significant, as demonstrated by the uproar and level of interest in the recently disclosed vulnerabilities in HSMs created by a leading manufacturer.
A pair of security researchers from the cryptocurrency hardware wallet creator LedgerOps have announced the discovery of vulnerabilities in a leading HSM. The presented attack allowed the researchers to gain complete remote control of the HSM without the need for valid credentials. The compromise included the ability to extract all secrets from the HSM (cryptographic keys, administrator credentials, etc.) as well as upload a modified firmware to the device, ensuring that any backdoors inserted by the attacker cannot be removed by a software update and making it do whatever the attackers want.
The potential impacts of these vulnerabilities are significant. HSMs are commonly used by banks, cloud service providers, governments, and any other organization that has the need to provide absolute protection for cryptographic keys. The vulnerabilities discovered in this HSM would be capable of causing significant harm to data, financial, and national security.
Why an HSM is Not Enough
Hardware Security Modules are an effective method of protecting cryptographic keys. However, even secure HSMs may not be enough to secure a computing system. HSMs are very effective at protecting the data contained within them; however, they can do nothing for the data stored outside or data in transit to and from the HSM.
HSMs make a great cornerstone of a data security solution; however, a comprehensive security solution requires discovering and tracking data throughout its lifecycle. Advances in machine learning and data mining enable people to derive sensitive information through correlating large amounts of unclassified data. If an organization doesn’t properly track and control access to its data not stored in HSMs (with a modern data security solution), it is still entirely possible for a damaging data breach to occur.

“We don’t want adult websites using our business tools since that type of content is a violation of our Community Standards. When we learn that these types of sites or apps use our tools, we enforce against them,” Facebook spokesperson Joe Osborne said in an email Thursday.
If that is true, then what is Facebook doing in the website analytics business in the first place? And how come there is a 10% tracking record? Google, on the other hand, earns most of its revenue from its analytics tool.
“In the US, many advertising and video hosting platforms forbid ‘adult’ content. For example, Google’s YouTube is the largest video host in the world, but does not allow pornography,” the researchers wrote. “However, Google has no policies forbidding websites from using their code hosting (Google APIs) or audience measurement tools (Google Analytics). Thus, Google refuses to host porn, but has no limits on observing the porn consumption of users, often without their knowledge.”
Yes, Google is tracking. Try going to the location history setting of your Android smartphone. Google, knows your location, your purchasing habit, they even have the voice recording of ‘Ok Google’ command that you gave for fun sake and now they are in your bedroom, doing what they do best.
A spokesperson from Google said “We don’t allow Google Ads on websites with adult content and we prohibit personalized advertising and advertising profiles based on a user’s sexual interests or related activities online.Additionally, tags for our ad services are never allowed to transmit personally identifiable information to Google.”
Dr Elena Maris, a Microsoft researcher who worked on the study, told The New York Times“The fact that the mechanism for adult site tracking is so similar to, say, online retail should be a huge red flag,” she added “This isn’t picking out a sweater and seeing it follow you across the web. This is so much more specific and deeply personal.”
Is this conversation even leading somewhere?
Few things I do not understand, if the corporation is clear that they are not using data from the pornographic site in any mean, then why are they allowing porn website to use their tools at first place? And if they know they have the data, then what do they do with it? Do they delete it or do they use it for their own benefit? Because even If there is a fraction of chance that users’ data of porn sites are compromised then it’s a very serious issue. Because it’s not just another information,it’s something very-very sensitive and personal.
So, I do think this conversation is not leading anywhere, perhaps one or two decades later when these so-called corporations will be so vested in our life that there will be a legit Black Mirror episode. Then a banal netizen will raise its concern about data privacy. Until then, this is just a debate that one will forget the next day.

The laptop features a display of 14 inches with a Full HD+ display and is equipped with AMD’s Ryzen 7 Pro 2700U APU, clocked at up to 2.2 GHz. In a letter to its investors, Netflix has confirmed that it will be launching a cheaper plan in Q3. This plan is currently mentioned only for mobile devices for Indian users only. Elon Musk’s secretive “brain-machine interface” start-up, Neuralink, revealed some of its Technology that it has been developing. On 16th of July, 2019 evening the Neuralink revealed their technology for the very first time to the public. The main aim of this startup is to develop a technology that can read a human mind.
At an event at the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, Neuralink introduced “threads” as a technology that is smaller than a human hair and can be injected and implanted into the brain directly, to detect the activity of neurons. The start-up company also emphasizes the advantage of flexible “threads” over “brain-machine interfaces”. The company claims that the “threads” are less likely to damage the brain than the materials used in the brain-machine interface.
According to the ‘Elon Musk and Neuralink’, threads are 4 to 6um in width and they are capable of transferring a higher volume of data.
Though the company plans to seek FDA approval for a human clinical trial by 2020, on a version of its device that is “only intended for patients with serious unmet medical diseases”, said Dr. Matthew McDougall, Neuralink’s head neurosurgeon. The first clinical trial will target patients with complete paralysis due to an upper spinal cord and will involve installing four of Neuralink’s implants in patients’ brains. Musk also shared the test results with people at the event. But as for now, the technology is only tested on animals. Musk revealed that the thread was implanted to the money’s brain and as a result, the monkey became capable enough to control a computer with his brain.

Coming to the design and built part of Zephyrus GX531GWR. This gaming beast is impressively thin, light and beautiful in terms of a gaming laptop and the hardware it is loaded with. The laptop only weighs 2.1kg even after that we get all full-size ports which will be mentioned later in the article. The design which we get in this gaming beast is new and very eye-catchy.
The body of Zephyrus GX531GWR is made up of aluminum with proper golden color shades all over. The top side of the lid has a textured concentric signature finish from Asus which is kind of attractive and adds up luxury feel. On top of the lid, we also get the ROG logo which looks cool.
Coming to the other area of a laptop like a palm rest area, then you are going to miss it in this beast. You need to make your hand rest on the table or need to separately buy a hand rest as this laptop has lowered the keyboard panel which is quite different from what we see in other products in the market. Even after this lower down keyboard layout, we get a full-sized keyboard which works well. The keys also make a sound while we use them. They are made up of solid plastic and not rubber which makes it way better while typing. The spacing between the keys are proper and are well comfortable while typing.
In this new layout, the trackpad layout has also moved to the Numpad area, which makes the trackpad do multipurpose work. It works as a trackpad as well as a Numpad. You can use them both at the same time that too without any problem.
We just need to hard press the trackpad from the top right corner to switch on or off the number pad on the trackpad. No Numpad on compact laptops was a big issue which is finally being solved by Asus in this new Zenbook series.
We also get an HD 1080p webcam which works well for skype call or even for any kind of webinar. In low light, it will struggle a bit, due to which I will suggest you use additional LED light in front of your face will work.

Asus has added all full-size ports in a compact size of a laptop in this series. You won’t be missing any of your regular port while using this one. On the left side, we get 1 x DC-In , 1 x USB3.1 Gen 1 Type C , 2 x USB2.0 , 1 x 3.5mm Audio Jack.
Coming to the right side we get 1 x USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-c , 1 x USB3.1 Gen2 Type-A. Beside it, we get a different LED light indicator.
On all three sides of the laptop, you’ll find cooling vents, but what’s really the impressive trademark of the Zephyrus laptop range, as far as design is concerned, is the backplate that lifts up when you open the lid. This looks cool. The whole laptop comes up with few millimeters. This is not enough we also get proper RGB lighting in it, which is going to attract anyone towards you to ask about this beast.
Backside we get air vents and no option for any connectivity.
