Asus 6z Design & Built
I have been using the Asus 6z for the past couple of days now and trust me the 6.39″ FHD+ screen with Full View Display without any notch is really impressive. We get a 19.5:9 which is coming in almost all devices these days. Turning the device around we get the curvy feel with glass and aluminum finish all over. With full front back glass and aluminum, the body device feels really very impressive and premium while using on a regular basis. Adding the glass makes the device a bit slippery, which make me suggest to use some case or skin on it. This year we have noticed all Flagship phones getting bigger and bulkier but if with the weight of 190 grama the device feels convenient to use. With 5000 mAh battery, the weight of the device is justified.
Starting with the design part; at the front top, we get an earpiece and best part a Multi-Color LED light which is not available in any other notchless device. Asus 6z is first in the world to add LED notification in Full display notchless device. Below that we get 6.39-inches FHD+ display which is an IPS display and works well. Display which is covered with 2.5D curved glass. The curve glass gently melds in along with the curved sides, thus making it a joy to hold in the hands without any fatigue.
Coming little bit down we get on-screen back keys which we can swipe according to our usage. Asus has also added Gestures which is more convenient to use after using Vivo and other brands. Gestures work perfectly and increase all display experience.
Turning the phone to the downside here we get a primary MIC and a USB port Type C 2.0 port which supports OTG and Quick Charge 4.0 with 18W fast Charger. Beside it, we also get a speaker grill which has impressive high-quality audio and these speakers also work as stereo speakers. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack which is removed by most of the competitors. We never want Asus to remove 3.5mm Audio jack it is a necessary thing which We don’t know why other brands have removed. The sound output using 3.5mm Audio jack is amazing and you can also change and modify the output by using dedicated Audio Wizard which Asus Is offering in their software.
Coming to the left side of the phone here we get an amazing Tripple tray slot where we can insert two dedicated sims and a Micro SD Card. Both sim’s support Dual VoLTE if you want to use it.
Turning the phone to the upside we only get antenna lines and another noise cancellation MIC, which makes it total 2 Noise cancellation MIC in it. We also get a flip camera module on top which we are to explain later.
Coming to the right side of the phone we Volume rockers and power lock key which works quite well on regular usage. They are also made up of metal. We also get a third button above volume rockers which can be programmed as per your usage. You can set that button for Google assistant or camera or anything else whatever application you want to control using that button.
Finally coming to the backside of the phone here we get a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera with support of Dual LED flash. The camera that we get with Asus 6z is not an ordinary camera, it is a flip motorized camera. These same back camera can be transformed in the front camera just by a press of a button we can also stop the camera rotation manually as per our usage. This camera looks way better than what we get in Oneplus 7 Pro or Vivo V15 Pro. Below that we get Asus branding a Fingerprint sensor which works quite fast just like what we see in Oneplus Devices. The back panel is made up of proper glass and has that circular finish which we see on every Asus products. the flip motorized camera also supports Face unlock and it works amazingly fast.
ASUS 6Z Display
Display of Asus 6z attracts you in a single shot because the device comes with a notch-less display. Asus 6z comes with a 6.39-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 X 2340. The display gives you the ratio of 19.5:9 which is normal these days. The colors on the display are sharp and playing games look great. The display looks dark and increases the experience of watching movies to another level. The display also supports HDR10 which increases the experience of watching movies and web series on the device. Overall, an amazing display which Asus is offering. They can make it best if they have added a Super AMOLED display, but it will again increase the price of the device.
Asus has given their peak performance in there 6z. They have given the latest and fastest processor from snapdragon which is Snapdragon 855. They have not even compromised with the software UI. This time even with ZenUI they are offering pure stock android without any bloatware without any lag. ZenUI=Stock Android in Asus 6z. No complaints in performance and software UI. Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and all heavy-duty games run smooth. PUBG runs in Ultra.
HD streaming on Asus 6z works out of the box on all applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime. We also get all relevant sensors and connectivity options including Dual VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 are present on the phone.
One issue which I faced out in my Unit was for accidental touches, might be in future after some update if get fixed.
Asus 6z Camera
Asus 6z features dual camera sensors with an added flip camera (48MP Main Camera + 8MP Wide Angle Lens) on the rear end, which can be flipped and get converted in a high-quality selfie camera (The Best part you can use in this device). The dual camera makes use of the AI technology which detects different scenes automatically and adjusts the setting to get the best output out of it.
It produces images with good natural-looking colors even in indoor and low lighting. When it comes to the camera and picture’s quality, we are amazed at the quality images it captures.
Take my words it really works well. If we are going to compare some shots from Oneplus 7 Pro, this time Asus camera is way ahead with Selfie as well as the back camera. If you are going to use Google Camera application in your 6z you will just gonna love me with so many detailed upgradations.
No comparison with selfie camera this time as the primary back camera of Asus 6z is flipped into a selfie camera. If we compare the same camera with any other device selfie camera Asus is way Ahead with the quality output.

Asus 6Z Battery
In Asus 6z we get a massive big 5000mAh battery which can last really long. We are consistently getting a screen on time of more than 8 hours, which makes 6Z the best in their segment.
Asus bundles an 18W quick charger in the box that can charge the device to 60% capacity in an hour and get fully charged in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. The device also supports there is reverse charging and can charge other devices (up to 10W).
Verdict
For selfie, no notch and show off lovers, it is going to be a great device. Overall in daily usage, you won’t find any issue. This is an amazing premium high-quality device. The brand has not compromised anything while building this one. Even the price of the device is amazing but still, they can low down the price as Asus 6z is giving direct competition to Oneplus 7. Lowering the price can offer them double sales volume.
Pros
Great Notch-less Display
Best Performance
Great audio quality
Fast fingerprint sensor
Glass and metal body
Great Pricing
Great Camera Quality ( Loved Flip Selfie Camera )
Great Battery output ( Loved the battery backup )
Dedicated card Slot
The audio jack is Still present ( Please don’t remove it future devices also )
Cons
Face-unlock is good but with the flip camera, it might affect the motorized camera in the future.

Should I say I’m back? Or I’m back again? What’s the right word? Does it matter? Hun…
The answer is NO, and a big capital N-O. And I’m going to explain to you why? So, stick with me on this one because your smartphone purchase decision is no longer smart. You don’t realise but today, you’re just a mere piece of the puzzle in this big corporate game of profit and loss. On the one hand we have enthusiastic cute fans of Apple Pie and Oreo and the other hand there is logic, and apparently in this multiverse logic has no place to live.
Let’s begin
The smartphone retail culture is so smart these days that If you are one of that customer who bought your favourite smartphone, which you were waiting for a quite a lot time, then you’re touched by God himself. That’s how hard-hitting today’s smartphone purchase is especially in the budget segment market, back in the time of those classic qwerty keyboards, purchasing a smartphone was easy. You just went to a shop and buy it. And then the internet came and after that online shopping. Today, offline shopping is just a sheer phenomenon that nobody cares. Why? Have we lost trust in our local shop? Or scrolling up and down is the new smartness?
The online shopping was introduced as the idea of convenience, you purchase something and it comes at your door the next day. But what have we done to it? I’m sorry, what has corporation done to it? That’s the question.
Marketing strategies have always been part of these so-called corporations, you advertise your product and let the customer know of its benefit, and if they like it they buy it if they don’t they move on with something else. But today’s alternative marketing strategies have shown tremendous potential in influencing your ideal purchasing decision. The so-called H-Y-P-E.
Why I don’t like sale culture?
See, I’m not against their profit and loss statement. What I’m against is how you’re projecting these profits. Example gratia, On March 13th 2019, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro went on sale at 12:00 PM GMT+5:30, at 12:00:30 PM it went out of stock. The device sold out in less than a minute. After a month, IndiaToday reported that the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro has sold over 1 million smartphones. That’s golden but how? The answer is via sale. So, if my math is wrong then they are selling more than one lacs smartphones per sale and if the devices went out of stock in a minute then they probably sold 1000 to 2000 smartphones/second. That’s got to be some world record or something, isn’t it? FYI, I’m not even counting the offline marketplace here.
I know, there is nothing shady. It’s simple mathematics, but here’s what you don’t know about media. Media only reports something that’s news, and if there is no news there is no hype. You put a device on sale you get one point, the device sold out in a minute; two points. The sale is next week; three points. And the hype continues. Samsung took some inspiration and did the same thing to its M30 a few months ago, look at some of the news reporting and decide for yourself.
Yeah, I know. Things look pretty clear when you set them in data points, isn’t it? The other side of data also suggests that there are more public posts regarding Smartphone sale announcement than the actual smartphone launch. Nearly every online technology publisher post at least 4-5 sale announcements per smartphone that goes on sale. But why? Is this strategy even successful?
If you don’t put the device on sale and just put it on a regular platform, you’ll not get this much of attention. And if you’re a big corporation playing a humongous game of profit and loss then you can control this hype, by hook or by crook. Now, it isn’t the debate if the phone is good or bad, simply speaking you can apply these strategies on anything, any product and get away with it easily. Even if the product is bad, even if there is a competitive smartphone in the market and because you know. You know, that there is a product that is going out of shelves and people are crazy about it. You will opt for it, you’ll think about it, perhaps later, perhaps not now.
Is it a successful strategy?
A recent report published in The Hindu suggests that the M series, which was only available at the online market, sold nearly 2 Million devices since the launch. An article published in TOI states that Samsung’s A series (online & offline market) has sold more than 5 Million smartphones in the past 70 days. Clearly, it indicates that the A series sold more than the hyped M series, that’s indeed a success but how? The A series didn’t get that much hype; it wasn’t even promoted on that huge scale compared to the M series.
A research analyst at Counterpoint Research Anshika Jain said, “The overall growth was slower than expected as some of the major brands were sitting on inventory after a stock build up during the festive period last quarter.” She also said that Realme, which started as an online-only brand, now gets the majority of its sales fromoffline channels and OnePlus & Xiaomi are trying to capture the offline smartphone market as well by expanding its retail stores. So, if the companies are getting the majority of the sales figure from the offline market, why are they so invested in online sale phenomena?
The same report also suggests that the tech giant Xiaomi and Samsung had a significant fall in their market share in Q1 2019. Xiaomi has a 2% less market share and Samsung has a 3% less market share now. Companies like Vivo grew to 12% market share from 6%. Realme, which wasn’t even in the previous quarter list, now grew to 7% market share. So, I can freely say that online selling strategies are failing and offline market is booming, maybe this is a minor change in the market but who knows.

It’s ruining your purchasing decision.
This has to be a pun right? Marketing strategies can’t influence your purchasing decisions. But what if I’m right? What if all those marketing strategies bloc together does influence our purchasing decision and you don’t know yet.
Microeconomic theory of ‘law of demand’ states that “Conditional on all else being equal, as the price of a good increases (↑), quantity demanded decreases (↓); conversely, as the price of a good decreases (↓), quantity demanded increases (↑)” that basically means, the cheaper the product is the higher its demand will be. Although, this condition does apply on a budget smartphone but sale culture is looking forward to ruining that. Because of the higher demand, the online-only smartphones are sold in the offline black market at a much higher price. Since the demand in consumer base has increased, they somehow convince themselves to purchase the product anyhow. This phenomenon has been widely seen in luxury brands like Supreme, where the resale value of Supreme products has shown a rapid increase, and the reason for this is limited stock.
In behavioural economics, consumer behaviour changes on many factors but it hugely relies on pricing and necessity. A theory of Perfect competition suggests “all firms sell an identical product (the product is a “commodity” or “homogeneous”); all firms are price takers (they cannot influence the market price of their product); market share has no influence on price; buyers have complete or “perfect” information – in the past, present and future.” In simple term, a perfect market where a substitute for each product is available at a somewhat similar price. Now, when a product is not available in the market consumer apt for an alternate option, no matter the demand and brand value. In the tech world, those products are an offline only smartphone.
In a general scenario, where you’re sitting in your comfortable chair and decide to buy a new smartphone, you search for the top 10 budget smartphone and you have made your mind on one phone. As an average netizen, you’re constantly watching reviews, reading articles, tracking the sale and talking “Aaj sale hai.” I bet that didn’t work out for you and if it did, my God! You’re lucky.
But imagine not getting your desired smartphone on sale, you tried once, twice, thrice and now you’re frustrated. Now, you’re purchasing decision has changed, now you want anything that comes in that price segment. Any smartphone will do, just because you need one, just because a smartphone is a necessity for you today. And that is when you’ll click on ‘Add to cart’ on another brand, maybe you’ll go to the offline market and buy whatever the salesperson recommends. Yes! You’ll do that because I have done that. And you’ll keep reminding yourself that the only reason you bought that Samsung A series is because the M series wasn’t available.

Cybersecurity solutions provides checkpoint on Wednesday disclosed that “Agent Smith” is a new variant of Mobile malware that pretty much resembles with malware campaign such as “gooligan”, “Hummingbad” and “CopyCat”. The Malware, ‘Agent Smith’ has infected around 25 millions of Android devices around the world, including 15 million mobile devices in India. The prime targets of this mobile malware are basically the Hindi, Arabic, Russian and Indonesian speaking users. So, the major devices that are victims of this malware are from countries like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. “Agent Smith” has not only targeted the Asian countries but it has also infected devices in the UK, Australia and the US.
As per the reports, Agent Smith is disguised as a Google-related application that was originally downloaded from the most popular third-party app store i.e. 9 Apps. The Malware is capable enough to exploit known Android vulnerabilities and automatically replaces installed applications with the malicious version without the user’s knowledge. It attacks the user-installed applications silently, making it challenging for the common Android users to figure it out that what’s wrong with their Android Smartphone. Reports also says that the malware can be easily used for intrusive and harmful purposes such as banking credential theft and eavesdropping.
For all the Android users, the checkpoint has worked closely with Google at the time of publishing and has assured that there are no malicious apps on the Play store. The best protection against intrusive mobile malware attack like Agent Smith is to adopt a ‘Hygiene First’ approach which is basically the combination of advanced threat prevention and threat intelligence, to safeguard the digital devices.
Third party store often lacks the security measures, so the Android users should only download an app from Trusted applications to avoid the risk of infection.

Cryptocurrencies are one of the biggest opportunities for investor out there. Facebook recently announced two different coins The second one doesn’t get much attention because it was only for companies and rich people. The digital currency by Facebook called Libra Currency which is also called a stable coin will be available in the transactional form in WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
What is Libra Currency?
https://youtu.be/MKkJ6UzAVLM
Libra is a global currency and financial infrastructure which means it is a digital asset built by Facebook and powered by a new Facebook created version of blockchain. It is just like PayPal, MoneyGram or western union without the annoyance of emails and higher fees.
Who is in charge of Libra Currency?
Libra is a stable coin which will be processed by the members of “Libra association” only via permission blockchain. Similar in purpose to USDT and Tether, as a centralised, permission fungible, non-mineable, not rare for the transactions between fiat and Libra and hopefully BTC. Libra will act as a separate company to Facebook and based in Geneva(Switzerland). Facebook stands to profit extremely in fees should Libra become successful crypto.
How will I get Libra?
Unlike other cryptocurrencies, Libra will be backed by real government-backed assets from central banks to make it stable. Facebook will let users simply buy the currency. It says Libra will be made available to messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp users, who can cash in their local currency to buy Libra. Libra currency units will be retired as they are redeemed for conventional currency.
Facebook will also carry out “airdrop” which means it will distribute a small amount of cryptocurrency token or coin for free to a large number of wallet addresses. It can be used as a standalone app for anybody who has a smartphone in this world.
Users can download a digital wallet named calibra, which is a digital wallet for Libra. It is a Facebook supplementary whose goals are to provide financial services that will let people access and participate in the Libra network.
Is it safe?
Libra is said to be a global currency that will allow users to make instant transactions through approved apps, supported by secure and stable open source “Libra blockchain” technology. Facebook is using the same verification and anti-fraud processes that banks and credit cards use. It has an automated system that will keep a check on the activities to protect and prevent any false behaviour.
Calibra is a trusted digital wallet which will not release any of your private data without your permission. Facebook states that it’ll have “live support” by which individuals can receive refunds if they lose their money through fraud and has a “bug bounty program” implemented by which users can get compensation for reporting bugs.
How will this make Facebook money?
Libra will be maintained through small but profitable cuts from every transaction on the blockchain. Facebook is not going to sell the user’s crypto data to ad companies to make money. Your financial data will be kept safe from the third party. Fin. For information on Libra click here.

We all are aware of the prototype of the folding phones from Samsung and Huawei. But, these are not the only companies shining while designing an innovative product. Sony is one of the Japanese multinational corporations that is apparently working on some flexible technology of its own.
The only difference is that this time it’s going to be a rollable phone rather than a foldable one. The patent application that was published last year also disclosed Sony’s interest in developing a “dual-sided transparent smartphone”, as well as a “foldable transparent smartphone”.
As per the latest news, the prototype for Sony’s folding/rollable smartphone features LG display with a roll-up screen. It sports a Snapdragon 855 chipset with a Qualcomm X50 modem for 5G connectivity along with a battery of 3,220 mAh and 10X zoom camera.
The latest prototype for Sony’s foldable/rollable smartphone features a “Nautilus Design” The rollable screen would be provided by LG. LG has already tested its ability to build displays that roll-up with its Signature OLED TV R television.
As per the rumours, the device based on this prototype will be launched either in December or early next year. With a lot of information available on the internet, it is pretty much clear that the prototype by Sony doesn’t resolve the issues faced by the prototypes of Samsung and Huawei. Also, there is no such news by the company regarding the price of the smartphone. But, with such specifications and technology used, we can expect that the price is going to be quite high.
