LG, a South Korean multinational electronics company has recently launched “AI ThinQ TVs” with built in Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Airplay 2 support.

AI ThinQ TVs are powered by Alpha 9 generation 2 processor and Deep Learning technologies such as HDR 10 pro, HLG Pro HDR, Technicolor and Dolby Atmos technologies. The company claims that it is the only brand to provide support for AI platforms without the need of extra hardware in it’s TV.

LG AI ThinQ TVs offers an interactive experience by employing Natural Processing Learning (NLP) to deliver intelligent voice actuated control. With the built in Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Airplay 2, users can select their favourite program, ask questions, and control compatible smart devices with the help of assistant. These AI based technologies also allows the users to use intelligent voice to speak into LG magic Remote to search for shows and change TV settings.

Oppo is gearing up for the launch of its next generation of K series smartphones in India. Amazon India recently posted a teaser of the upcoming device revealing the launch date as 19th July. Sony is Secretly Working on its own Folding Smartphone

We all are aware of the prototype of the folding phones from Samsung and Huawei. But, these are not the only companies shining while designing an innovative product. Sony is one of the Japanese multinational corporations that is apparently working on some flexible technology of its own.

The only difference is that this time it’s going to be a rollable phone rather than a foldable one. The patent application that was published last year also disclosed Sony’s interest in developing a “dual-sided transparent smartphone”, as well as a “foldable transparent smartphone”.

Leaks: Google Pixel 4 may come with 16-Megapixel Telephoto Lens

XDA-Developers dug into the recently leaked new Google Camera app. The new updated Google Camera app has been reported to get a lot of new feature updates for the upcoming devices. Within the code, people at XDA-Developers, found a code-name “sabre” for the Google’s Super Res Zoom, which internally further had reference to word “telephoto”. They also uncovered a list of camera sensors that the Google Camera app can choose from. The exciting part of this list of sensors is that it included “FRONT_IR” and “REAR_TELEPHOTO”.

Realme X Spider-Man edition announced in India ahead of launch on July 15

A day before the release of Spider-Man: Far from Home, Realme announced that the company’s upcoming project i.e. Realme X Spider-Man edition will be launched in India on July 15. The company announced this news at the premiere show of the latest superhero movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Xiaomi Redmi 7A With Snapdragon 439 Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs. 5,999

Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company has recently launched Redmi 7A in India after launching it successfully in China. Xiaomi offers a 2 years of warranty on Redmi 7A, just for it’s Indian customers.

Redmi 7A features a 5.45 inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC and runs on an Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on the top. It is backed up a 4000 mAh battery with 10W charging Support. However, to please Indian customers, Xiaomi offers a 12MP Sony IMX486 camera at the back along with an LED flash and PDAF lens, on the Indian variant of Redmi 7A. Along with 12 MP rear camera, Redmi 7A also has a 5 MP selfie camera that supports AI face unlock feature.

Nvidia has Released all New GeForce RTX Super Graphics cards Starting at Rs 34,890

Nvidia is a famous American company, known for designing graphics processing units for the gaming and professional markets. Recently, the company has released a line-up of graphics cards called Super. The graphics cards covered under this line-up are GeForce RTX 2060 Super, GeForce RTX 2070 Super and GeForce RTX 2080 Super. All these graphics cards are the upgraded version of the 20- series RTX cards.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is All Set To Launch on August 7

Samsung, the largest South Korean chaebol is hosting it’s next galaxy unpacked event in Brooklyn, New York. The company is planning to reveal Samsung Galaxy Note 10 at the event on August 7. According to the rumours, the company is also planning to launch larger models like Galaxy Note 10 pro and Galaxy 10+. Basically, Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Note 10 in two variants based on size. The name of the variants is still not confirmed, but most likely they are going to name as either Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 pro or Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+.

The official teaser video has been released. The teaser Video hints that there might be a possibility that Galaxy Note 10 will have Infinity-O display panel, just like Galaxy S10 family has. But, Galaxy Note 10 will support a camera sensor at the centre of the screen.

Though the launch of the Galaxy Note 10 is yet to happen, the rumoured news confirms that Galaxy Note 10 is going to have a display size of 6.28 inch while the other variant i.e. either Galaxy Note 10 pro or Galaxy Note 10+ could have a display size of 6.75 inches. Sony HT-Z9F Soundbar With Built-in Chromecast Launched in India

After exit from the smartphone business in India, Sony intends to maintain the premium quality of its other products. The company is doing well in the TV and Home Entertainment range of products, which now gets upgraded with the launch of the Sony HT-Z9F premium 3.1 channel soundbar. The soundbar has been priced at Rs. 59,990 in India. It comes with a dedicated subwoofer and optional SA-Z9R rear channel speakers priced at Rs. 9,990, in case anyone wants to upgrade to a 5.1 channel setup.

The company added,” On pre-booking of the HT-Z9F from July 1 until July 8, the rear surround speaker SA-Z9R would be available at no additional cost.”

Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director of Sony India said,” The new HT-Z9F, will be a game changer for the home-cinema segment. Our exciting collaboration with Dolby for HT-Z9F will enable users to enjoy cinematic-audio powered by Dolby Atmos, right in the comfort of their homes, thus, giving them more reasons to love Sony.”

The Sony HT-Z9F is compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X cinema audio format. It features the company’s own Virtual Surround Engine, expected to improve the surround sound experience by simulating overhead and surround channels virtually. The HT-Z9F soundbar offers a multitude of connectivity options ranging from Bluetooth, LAN, USB and optical-in to using with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The Sony HT-Z9F also supports Wi-Fi connectivity, a built-in Chromecast, 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision passthrough with HDMI ARC. The soundbar comes with remote control for ease of control. The device will go on sale from 8th July and is available for pre-order at Sony centres, e-commerce websites and other major third-party retailers.

Google Stadia and its Performance

At GDC 2019’s keynote in March this year, Google introduced its Netflix-of-gaming, Stadia. Stadia, as Google claims, is a cloud streaming service making graphic-intensive games, available to all who have access to Chrome. The motive behind launching Stadia, as proclaimed by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, is to make the fun of gaming readily accessible to anyone.

Stadia – The new generation of gaming

This cloud streaming service, scheduled to launch in November this year, comes with groundbreaking features. Initially, Stadia will be available in select countries only such as the US, Canada, the UK and most of Europe.

Let us have a closer look at this wonder:

You already have the hardware

Albeit a surprise, it’s nothing but true that you already have all the hardware needed for Stadia. You can stream your favorite games on any device you already own thus removing the need for consoles.

Also, Stadia comes with its own wireless controller and is programmed to see all the processes via cloud computing. Thus all you’ll need in addition to the controller is a screen and a compatible and steady internet connection.

Sound and Graphics Quality

Google promises the graphics quality would be as good as 4k resolution running at 60 fps. And the highly anticipated game Doom Eternal would be the first one to feature on Stadia.

Stadia’s head of engineering Majd Bakar claims it [Stadia] is built on an infrastructure no one else has. From the technical viewpoint, Google’s Stadia will render the games on a remote server, send you the video, record your response and send it back to the server to process. Now such a mechanism rightfully rises latency concerns but with high-speed internet connections, this feedback and response lag will be too smooth to be noticed humanly.

Stadia also adds to the local multiplayer experience compared to what that was like before. How? Well, it renders both players’ views onto two different Stadia instances rather than the old split screen method that renders two scenes at the same time. Hence, efficiently utilizing the resources.

The Stadia games are perfectly compatible with the existing USB controller, and the good old keyboard-and-mouse combination. Phil Harrison, VP, and General Manager Google gave away a few more specifics too. Among other details, it was mentioned how the Stadia will perform with different kinds of internet connections.

Over a spectrum ranging from 4k resolution to 720p with HDR color and 60 frames per second frame rate, a good internet connection is all you need.

For example, for 720p resolution at 60 fps and stereo sound, the recommended minimum connection bandwidth by Google is 10 Mbps.

Meanwhile, with 20 Mbps internet download speeds, you can enjoy full HD color, with 1080p resolution, 60 frames per second and 5.1 surround sound instead of plain ol’ stereo sound.

Last but [definitely] not the least; you can also have fun with the highest quality of resolution available today. Yes, the 4k resolution with 5.1 surround sound, 60 fps frame rate at internet speeds as good as 35 Mbps.

Fun Fact: if you have the privilege to play at the most enhanced settings, that is the 4k resolution, then the internet data consumed in one session at 35 Mbps will add up to 15.75 GB. In addition, a game time of 65 hours will eat up 1TB of monthly data allotment.

The future of gaming

Harrison highlighted Stadia’s goal is to make gaming available and accessible to everyone – the reason why Stadia supports a range of internet connection speeds from as low as 10 Mbps up to 35 Mbps. Thus once launched, you’ll be able to stream your favorite games anywhere on your TV, phone, desktop, laptop or tablet and enjoy the highest quality gaming at your convenience.

On the announcement event, Harrison also demonstrated how he switched from watching Assassin’s Creed trailer on YouTube to instantly playing the game, while also switching between devices in a matter of seconds. Since Stadia will be rendering the entire thing on a remote server, the only bottleneck would be your internet connection, and the time it consequently takes to load the stream.

Harrison told Fortune the gaming industry is very fragmented these days. People use their tablets, phones, and desktops for gaming. Therefore Google intends to provide a more unified platform for developers to work on and cater to a more diversified audience too – he declared they are ready to take the ‘bold’ path.

With all this said and done, a common gaming enthusiast would still have his/her concerns related to the latency of the service. Hence Harrison did defend Stadia by reiterating it is built on a very strong infrastructure i.e. Google’s subsea cable and fiber optic link network with 7500 edge nodes located around the globe to reach every user effectively. And to support this, AMD hardware powers the Stadia stacks at Google’s Datacenter with as much as 10.7 teraflops of power in each instance.

We will have our fingers crossed until this technology is launched for the public. And only then we will see how high Google manages to hit on the ‘game changer’ scale?
