But bots, a type of app that can perform specific repetitive tasks via chat properties in a question and answer format, are being spoken of as the apps’ winning ticket for a comeback.
“Right now consumers open up an app and we may interact on a limited scale but we are using a lot of energy, says Strauss. “We’re texting, typing, taking photos, posting and it’s all our [work] – We want to be lazy! We want the work to be done for us. So, all the tech innovators – Microsoft, Amazon, Apple – they’re all recognizing this behavior and focusing on creating “bots” or robots that will listen to you and do your bidding and it is the future of commerce.”

Gionee A1 plus is available in two colors Black and Mocha Gold. When I first picked up the device in hand it feels sturdy and well built. I would say Gionee has really worked hard on their new device. Each and every small detail is being taken care which we can notice on the power lock key has circular red chrome lining. Built quality of Gionee A1 plus is really top notch with no complaints regarding it. As the main focus of the device is on providing good multimedia experience with great battery and dual camera plus added big selfie camera it make the device little bit heavy. But i think when a person is getting this much in one device they can bear up with the weight.
Starting with the front part of the phone at the top we get a 20-Megapixel Shooter beside it a LED flash which is not a ordinary flash seems to be like a moonlight flash, it also has different effect as per your choice. Beside that you get earpiece, different sensors and a no LED notification Light, in spite of LED Notification Front Flash works as a LED Notification if you enable it from setting panel.
Sliding down you get a 6″ FHD AMOLED Display, with a added 2.5d Curved glass on top of it. The whole front is protected with a Gorrilla Glass 3 which make this large display safe for your use, still i will prefer you to use a screen guard or a tempered glass for betterment of the phone.
Below that you get back capacitive keys which don’t light up. We just have two small white color dots over there. Between that houses a Home button which we can actually press. That home button also acts as a Fingerprint sensor which is insanely accurate and fast just like we see in Oneplus 5 and MI6 and Gionee A1. I rather love its fingerprint sensor just a small tap on fingerprint, and it will unlock the device. I have already shown the same in our different videos of Gionee A1 plus.
Now, coming to the down portion of the phone you get a Micro USB port which do support fast charging, besides that you get Dual Speaker grills out of which right one is having the actual speaker and left one is having the primary MIC in it.
Turning around to the top side you just get a 3.5mm Audio jack and nothing else.
Coming to the left portion of the phone you get a Hybrid SIM tray which supports Dual sim or single sim + Micro SD card that to up to 256GB.
Turning the phone to the right side, you get volume rockers and power lock keys which work perfectly fine and made up of metal. We also have Chamfered cut design available on volume rockers and power lock key. This is not enough to get more detailing in the phone Gionee has added color different among all the buttons. We get silver black edge on volume rockers where as we get Red color Chamfered edge on Power Lock key.
Coming to the back side of the the phone you get a 13+5-megapixel Dual camera Setup. Beside that a single tone LED flash and besides that flash there is a hidden IR blaster which also has a great functionality which we see in LeEco device which is way better than MI device just because of added universal remote feature in it. Below that you get a nicely done Gionee Logo which is made inside a circular ring and looks good and coming down you get a Gionee branding and nothing much which need to explain over here.
Display
One of the main USP of Gionee A1 plus is its large 6″ FHD Amoled Display which produce really good colors. It gives us the resolution of 1920 x 1080 and pixel density of 367 ppi, which makes it look better. The colors are vibrant and dark. They are more towards the natural side and feels comfortable to eyes. White balance feels perfect and makes it a pleasant display to use even in bright sunlight. There are different color profiles that you can choose as per your comfortability by going into the setting panel.
Auto-brightness work perfectly, and I have no complaints regarding the display. Watching movies is awesome because we are getting Amoled Display and not any ordinary display. Viewing Angle is good and odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall I love the display. Then when we are getting this big size in the display the experience of watching movies is awesome.
Performance
The Gionee A1 plus comes with MediaTek MT6757 which is Helio P25 octa-core SoC paired with Mali-T880 and a 4GB RAM. There we get 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 256GB using a microSD card slot.

Even the device has Helio P25 in it, it can some how to handle all graphic intensive games such as GTA San Andreas, Bully, Batman, Nova 3 and much more on high setting. Asphalt 8 give some frame drops quite a few times don’t know why, because all other games are working fine. The best part is that even after playing the games for more than 30 minutes it won’t heat up the max temperature I got was 37- Degree that is quite normal that too in Delhi Hot Temperature. The phone functions smoothly even after there even opened all games in the background. I have made a separate video on it check it out.
Overall the device comes with Android 7.0 out of the box with Amigo UI 4.0, which works quite smooth on this processor, sometime while doing intense multi tasking like using word, at the same time using other apps it feels little bit snappy still, i would say it can handle all stuff.
We forgot to mention about the sensors which are available in Gionee A1 Plus so I would say we have all the sensors which a person need a phone you can even use a VR on the phone with no hassle. We also get a IR blaster at the back side of the phone which works well with peel apps loaded on the phone.
Camera
Coming to the most highlighted feature of the phone is its camera, which is 20-megapixel front facing camera which is supported with a front LED flash or i would say front moonlight which dont seems to take shots like a flash. The images captures using the front facing camera of the phone is really great. no pixelation is there, even in low light while using the front camera LIGHT it capture nice shots.
We get 13+5-megapixel dual camera setup at the back, both are having color sensors and take my words focus is ultra fast. While taking shots in light via potrait mode colors and focus is really good. I have attached some of the shots taken using Gionee A1 plus and seriously they came out awesome.

Software
The Gionee A1 plus comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with their custom skin Amigo UI 4 on top of it. They have customized a whole lot of stuff in their UI, and I would say it is buttery smooth even after filling the whole 64GB internal storage, with games, movies, and songs. In Amigo UI we don’t get any app drawer or on screen buttons just like iPhone.
Overall, the UI is quite good, but the person who love stock then this device is not for you, you will get so many customizations right in your hand out of the box. There are some minor bugs, but we can expect those bugs to be fixed by gionee in next coming OTA updates. Till now i have one OTA update where they have fixed some minors bugs and added group selfie feature.
Battery
Coming to the battery part of the phone here we are getting 4550mAh battery. On moderate or even too high usage, the smartphone will easily last you a full day on a single charge, and even more, it depends on your usage. I was Using Jio Sim + 25 minutes approx gaming, continuous whatsapp, facebook and other social media, some selfies and at the end of the day the remaining battery was 40% which seems to be quite good for me. There we also get some energy saving modes which will further optimize your battery life. You can choose different battery modes between normal mode, power saving mode which reduces performance and finally an extreme mode which will switch off all the stuff and you will be able to use some basic features like phone, contact, messaging in it.
It also comes with a fast charger and fast charging support and took about approx. 2 hour 20 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% using a stock charger which we get inside the box.
Verdict
Apart from the Price which is Rs. 26,999; I would say gionee has made something different in there now. As gionee is always offline focused brand and will be there future as well. So, when we compare Gionee A1 plus with other available offline brands, this is going to be a huge competition with this great specs, display and camera.

Is it really free?
So far, the device is not exactly free. Even Reliance’s ad campaign says ‘it’s effectively free’.
After the pre-order, you have to pay 1,500 Rs. As a deposit money. The money will be refunded after 3 years of use, but the problem is you’ll have to return the device to JIO in order to get your money back. So, the device is practically free for 3 years.
Well, we are not sure if the customer would even want to return the device after 3 years of use. The device will be in bad shape after three of extensive use. Some customer may even lose the device and some might break it. We are not sure if the company will even take damaged phone or not.
What are the Plans?
The TRAI Guidelines states that the customers need to recharge their phone and use at least once in every three months. Which basically means you have to recharge your JIO phone at least 4 times a year.
Basically, The TV-Cable is an advancement in the JIO feature phone. With this, you can connect your feature phone to your TV and stream media content. To enjoy this service, you’ll be required to buy a JIO Phone-TV Cable accessory. After that, you’ll be needed to recharge your phone with 309 Rs. In order to mirror your content from the phone to the TV.
As far as we know, the accessories will be compatible with all the commercial TV in the market, including the CRT ones.
Note that the JIO Cable service and the 309 plan is to only get the capability to stream media content on the TV. It doesn’t provide any Data or free calling or anything.

Design and Built
Design of Asus Zenbook 3 UX390UA is similar to what we get in other premium laptops from Asus. They have maintained the same Circle Concentric Design all over with Big asus Logo on the Top. The complete built is made up of premium metal, which seems to be very elegantly crafted. The color combination which they have used in Zenbook 3 series looks very eye catching. My personal favorite is Royal Blue with golden line which we are reviewing right now. The Asus Zenbook 3 comes with only 910 gram of weight with latest hardware loaded in it. In other words i would say it is still “ultra” portable and best for travel purpose with all kind of stuff.
One more thing, the UX390 does not have any kind flex around the keyboard, which we also see in some other ultrabooks. This makes again a good point under built for Zenbook 3.
We get proper travel space for typing on Zenbook 3 UX390, and the best thing is that they have not removed the backlit keyboard which was removed in Zenbook flip. Rest keyboard is fast and you are surely going to love your typing on it. While we were testing our unit, i just can’t make my hands of from zenbook 3 for all office work.
TrackPad and Fingerprint
We also get nice metallic trackpad which is works well and will give you great feel. We get all Windows 10’s gestures for multitasking and accessing the Notification Center. While using left or right click it will give you nice tactile and audible feedback, and the pointing device drivers offer great response and accuracy not having a single issue with the trackpad works really well with great built. One more thing we can even use the trackpad for writing purpose like a touch screen.
We also get a fingerprint scanner added on upper right corner of trackpad, which is extremely fast. I would say the placement of fingerprint sensor is not appropriate they can take some other place which will be more convenient for the users to use the trackpad as well as fingerprint
Display
The Zenbook UX390UA gets a 12.5-inch FHD display, with resolution of 1920 x 1080px. They have given a IPS panel and a sheet of protective Gorilla Glass 4 on top of it. This is not a touchscreen like what we get in Zenbook Flip UX360.
The display is quite reflective and using in sunlight might affect you. If you travel a lot then i would suggest you to use some matte screen guard which will give extra protection to the screen as well as it won’t get reflective while using in outdoor.
In Zenbook we get 300 Nits of brightness which i think is more than enough for this kind of ultrabook. Still i would day while watching movies on Full HD or on 4k, they look awesome.
Ports
There is nothing much which we get under the ports section, in total we are getting only two ports in the laptop. One at the left side which is a 3.5mm Audio jack which also has a MIC support in it.
And turning around to the right here we get a USB Type C (1st Gen) port which is used for charging. There is no dock which is available in the box which can be used to insert a full size pendrive in the laptop which is a kind of drawback same like Macbook. They have launched separate dock using which you can insert pendrive and get additional ports for 13,000 INR.
I think at least with this price they should add USB Type-C 3.1 (10 gbps), rest i would say for daily travel it is having enough what they need with this specs and portability, Asus zenbook 3 is way better than what we get in Apple 12-inch Macbook.
Sound
Coming to the sound quality of Asus zenbook 3 , it is loaded with four harman kardon, and take my words i don’t think so till now any of the ultrabook sound so great and loud. I am really impressed with the audio output. We get two speaker on top of the keyboard and other two on the bottom side of the Zenbook 3. Really impressed with the sound output.
Performance
Coming to the main part which is performance, here Asus Zenbook 3 UX390UA comes with Kaby Lake Core i7-7500U CPU which is supported with 16GB of DDR3 memory running in dual-channel mode, and a 512GB Toshiba M.2 PCIe Gen3 SSD. You also get Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and a VGA webcam. We get Intel HD integrated graphic card for normal graphic usage which include, 720p gaming, Photo editing, Watching 4k movies and Web Browsing. We can also do normal 1080p Video editing in Premiere Pro. I think with this power in portability you will just love it.
Even using it on high end usage with this kaby lake processor it wont lag in any scenario. Asus Zenbook 3 is a portable beast. If the price is little bit low i will surely buy it for personal use.
Battery life
There’s a 40 Wh battery on the Zenbook UX390UA, which seems to be bit small when we see the power of an Intel Core i7 processor, but it will still last you more than 6.5 hours on normal usage, and if you are doing some high end stuff, then it depends on you want stuff you are working on still it will give you the battery back up of 3.5 hours. It charge 60% laptop via USB Type -C port in about 50 minutes which is nice.
Overall i would say it will be easily up for you whole day of normal usage which includes web browsing and other small stuff. If you use it intensely with high end graphics work it will surely die in 3 to 4 hours max.
Verdict
Overall, i would say if you are a traveler and need to laptop which is way portable with windows and can handle all your high end stuff then this one is for you.

Xiaomi always comes with unique design in their flagship and so at this time. In Xiaomi Mi6 they have used full glass on its front as well as in back with little bit metal. It adds up really great built and looks to the phone but make it’s very slippery and delicate. This makes you defiantly add a separate case on the device else you are surely going to break the device in few days or even in a single day. But still, I would say the built of the device and feels while using it is top notch and you won’t get even a single complaint about it.
At the front at the top, we get 8-megapixel shooter beside it different earpiece sensors and LED notification light which is a single color LED notification light and don’t know why they have removed the multi-color notification led from the front. Coming to the front part there you will get a 5.15-inches very handy single hand use display with a minimal size of bezel on its sides even smaller than its predecessor.
Beneath the display of the phone, at lower bezel, you will get a home button and besides it fits up capacitive navigation keys which do light up in the night with small dots. The fingerprint sensor is already sitting in the home buttons which unlock the phone in a fraction of a second, and you don’t need to wake up the phone to unlock it. This is one of fastest fingerprint sensor i have ever seen after Oneplus. This time the fingerprint which they have added is made up of ceramic and not glass which is world hardest and toughest fingerprint sensor same like Oneplus 5.
Coming to the down portion of the phone, it houses the USB Type-C port which do support fast charging beside it a dual speaker out of which left one having the primary MIC and right one is having an actual speaker in it. Unfortunately, this time Xiaomi has removed 3.5mm audio jack from MI6 which means we need to be dependent on true wireless Bluetooth earphones are need to use the dongle which we get inside the box via USB Type-C port.
Turning around to the right you will get a power button which is made up of metal and give quite good haptic feedback if you use it because we get fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. Beside power button, we get volume rockers and nothing much over here.
Turning the phone to the left, we only get a SIM tray slot which supports nano SIM’s and nothing much which we need to mention over here.
Coming to the top side of the phone here we get IR blaster which we can be seen in almost all xiaomi devices and besides it houses a secondary noise cancellation MIC.
At the back side of the smartphone you will get a game changer this time as we get Dual 12 MP Camera out of which the first camera is a normal camera and the other one is a portrait camera or we can say zoom camera which can take the shots with 1.6x optical zoom and .4 as digital zoom in it. Besides the camera we get Dual tone LED flash which came out really good while taking some night shots. Below the camera module we also get an MI logo and nothing much which need to be explained over here.
Display
This time with Xiaomi Mi6 we were expecting to get something unique with bezel less display and QHD panel. But they have decreases the size of bezels and give us same Full HD panel with the resolution of 1980 x 1080 with the pixel density of 428 ppi.
Still, the thing is that the screen on the Mi6 looks dark and crisp. It looks great when you’re watching video and playing games on it. They have not yet confirmed whether they have used any kind of extra protection on top of the display or not. As of now what we know is that there we get a 2.5D curve glass on top of display which makes it more smooth while using.
The screen visibility in different lighting situation is also good and even in bright sunlight you can easily use it with great auto brightness feature. Overall no complaints with the display, everything works fine and with this screen size I would say FHD is more than enough and it also won’t require more battery life.
Performance
As we all know whenever Xiaomi comes up with something new it is always great. So as this time, Xiaomi MI6 delivers all what we can expect and need with the same the price bracket. Under the glass body construction MI6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor supporting with an Adreno 540 GPU & 64GB/128GB of non-expandable storage. Coming to the performance party it is one of the smoothest phones till now and it is more polished because of their MIUI8, which is one of my personal favorite ROM.

Coming to the usual benchmarks, MI6 scores 161925 in the AnTuTu Benchmark, which is a bit better than Samsung FLAGSHIP. These scores are measured after installing few games and other apps which might effect the score. As MI6 is equipped with 6GB of RAM, which makes the device which supports any kind of multitasking and for any kind of job. MI6 has already left so much free RAM to make it perform best.
From every aspect of gaming, media, browsing and all multitasking, the MI6 works flawlessly with no question in mind. I have made a Gaming test and heating test so don’t forget to check it out. We can even play God of War on the phone, now you can imagine its hardware and how it works.
Battery
Coming the one of the very important aspect of the phone which is its battery, because by mean of battery only it will provide whole day juice to the phone. Here this time with MI6 we are getting 3350 mAh Battery, which will easily last you more than a day even on high usage. This can be possible because of new snapdragon battery efficient processor plus well optimized MIUI 8.

The device houses with a USB Type-C port and also support Quick Charge 3.0 which make the device charge extremely fast. It takes about 1 hours 40 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. Rest, it depends on your usage and work how to get better battery out of it.
We also get different battery modes which you can switch as per your usage and comfort. Each mode has its own specifications an features according to which we can select the mode for proper battery optimization.
Camera
When we see MI6 they have really worked hard in it camera and its performance. This time also they came up with another game changer as they have added Dual Camera setup at the back. They have added Dual 12MP camera out of which primary camera is having a normal camera with OIS in it, where as the secondary camera is a zoom camera using which we can take portrait shots just like what we see in iPhone 7 plus and Oneplus 5. This camera can get shots same like DSLR. There is no support to takes shots in RAW format which i would say should be added in software with these awesome camera lenses in the device.

Software
Xiaomi MI6 out of the box is loaded with MIUI 8 which is the latest release from Xiaomi as of now. After the first boot i got the update for 1.5GB which make that MIUI 8 convert to Xiaomi MIUI 8.2.2. It is loaded with some really awesome features, and the best among them I like is the Dual app mode and Dual System using which you can live you personally and office life in two parallel ways.

Overall i would say it is one of the best device Xiaomi has ever made after Xiaomi MI MIX. Everything is top notch everything is great. Rest, its your personal choice.

Cube iWork 10 Design
When we consider with the price of the tablet at which it is available, i don’t think so we can expect more or rather i would say it is one of the best looking tablet with with great built in this price. Expecting more will be really very rude for this one.
The combination of colors which Cube used is very attractive and eye catching. The front side is totally black and at the back we get the combination of dark navy blue and black color. iWork 10 looks and feels premium with every aspect. Considering what this tablet can do, it is really very thin device with just only 8mm. The front panel also consider a 2-megapixel camera with several other sensors which are needed. Below the screen we also get a window button.
Coming to the back side there we get a primary 2-megapixel camera which is all surrounded by a black plastic. Then we get some product info and obvious iWork logo with added “Intel inside” logo on lower back. The tablet is sleek but still we can easily hold it with both hands so you don’t need to worry about dropping it in any scenario.
On the top side of the tablet we get power button and volume rockers which works quite well and give nice haptic feedback when you use them.
Coming to the left side here we get different ports like 3.5mm audio jack, Mini HDMI, Micro USB port 2.0 mainly for OTG purpose, beside it USB type c port for charging purpose and SD Card which can support up to 128 GB of expansion.
Coming to the right side we get two speaker grills which works well and are quite loud.
Finally to the down side of the tablet we get support of lock and pogo pins using which we can attach iCube keyboard in it. Take my words iCube keyboard is worth to buy, it is really very sturdy to use and has a solid built. One thing which i want to mention over here is that when we use the keyboard we also get full size USB port of each side of the keyboard, which is really needed thing when we use windows in the tablet.
Display
The main thing which we need in a tablet is it display, Cube iWork 10 is equipped with 10.1-Inch Full HD IPS screen with 10-multi-touch support. There are many other brand in the market offering double the resolution but when we see its practical expect it will low down the battery as well as performance of the tablet while using in Android or Windows mode. It will also increase the cost a lot.
We get great viewing angles and even in bright sunlight it works well in both android and windows mode. One thing which might you affect you is that, the display which we get is very reflective and while using the same in sunlight might affect you. The only solution which i got is using a Matt screen guard for the display to get better experience in sunlight. Bezels on the side of the screen are pretty big, which ultimately help us to grab the tablet easily. This is mandatory thing which is needed.
You acn always buy a third party stylus which works perfectly on it. You can even make your own stylus if you want. Hope you get my point what i want to convey.
Performance
Main thing which we need to consider in a windows and Android Tablet is it’s performance. Cube iWork 10 comes with Intel Atom X5-Z8300 (Cherry Trail Z8300) processor made on 14nm technology and is clocked at 1.44GHz. Coming to the graphics chip, it’s the Intel’s HD GPU’s. This all is supported by 4GB DDR3L RAM. While playing any HD game on Android or Windows mode it will work fine. I have made a short video on it showing playing games on iwork 10. Surfing on the web, perform perfectly. Multitasking on normal bases works fine but if you make it too high intensive use like using premier pro or other high end stuff just forget it, because it is meant for normal usage and for normal on the the go work, that too in affordable pricing. Professional photo and video editing is not recommended with this tablet.
Camera
This tablet is having 2 cameras one at front which is a 2-megapixel shooter and other one at back which is also a 2-megapixel shooter. We cannot aspect much with that 2-megapixel camera from front as well as from back, still i would say doing skype call and and other web video calls will get average quality. We are so much stuff in this affordable price i think we can still compromise a bit at camera.
Storage
This tablet is equipped with 64 GB of internal storage which we can expand by using a third party microSD card that to up to 128 GB. There is no internal storage left inside the tablet which can hold additional SSD in it. As it is a dual boot system where we are getting Android as well as Windows lot of internal storage is already occupied by the system. We definitely need to expand the memory by using a SD card.
USP – DUAL BOOT SYSTEM
The best thing or rather i would say the best USP of the tablet is it’s dual boot system. This is only and one of the best thing which will make you choose this tablet and buy one for you. Here we get full-fledged experience of Windows 10 and anytime you can pop your self to Android 5.1. So, i think this will make you work in any scenario. You can switch any OS any time just by few clicks.
As we are having both OS one one tablet, you won’t be finding any issue in finding any kind of apps and games. Every normal work can be done in this tablet. Watching movies, doing office work, normal photoshop and other stuff can easily be handled by this device.
