InFocus Turbo 5 is available in two colors Pure Gold and Mocha Gold, and personally, I like Mocha Gold one rest color is always a personal preference we cannot recommend color to anyone. Rest color choice is a never ending discussion. Starting with the front part here we get a 5-megapixel beside it, an earpiece, LED Notification and different sensors. LED Notification over here is having a single color, not multi-color notification. Coming below we get 5.2” HD Display, which is covered with 2.5D curved glass which gives additional looks to the phone and rests no info on adding any extra protection on it.

Sliding little bit down here we get Back capacitive keys which are printed like we see in other budget devices and don’t light up at night.

Coming to the bottom portion of the phone here we get a Micro USB port, beside it a primary MIC and nothing else which need to be mentioned. The Phone is not having fast charging and only support normal 5 Volts at 2 Amp charging.

Turning to the top, we get a 3.5mm audio jack and nothing much which needs to be mentioned over here.

Turning to the left, we get Hybrid Sim Tray which supports dual sims or Single Sim + Micro SD card slot that to up to 32GB only and power buttons.

Turning to the Right side of the phone, we get volume rockers which gives quite good haptik feel while you press them. There we also get patterned feel and metal buttons which make the built of the phone more premium and sturdy.

Finally coming to the back panel of the phone here we get 13-megapixel camera beside that a Single LED flash, below that a Fingerprint sensor which really works pretty fast. Below that we get InFocus branding and below that a primary speaker which is pretty loud. Overall the built of the design is made up of metal. Due to its built, battery and Android Nougat it comes in the category of best smartphone under 8,000 INR.

Display

InFocus Turbo 5 comes with a 5.2-inch HD with a resolution of 720 x 1280. The Display colors are sharp tone and watching movies, and playing games look great. It will somewhat give you the feel of using an AMOLED display. While watching a movie on to the phone give immense experience. The Sunlight legibility is also good because of its really great brightness. When we compare the brightness with other budget-oriented phones, InFocus turbo 5, has better sunlight experience.

Viewing Angle is good, and blacks are decent enough. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall no complaints with the display.

Performance

The phone comes with Mediatek Mt6737 processor which features a 2/3 GB Ram, and as of now, i am using 2GB ram version. This combo makes it a decent purchase at this price. Out of 16GB of internal storage, you get about 9.5 GB free after that also you can expand it to up-to 32 GB as the phone support Hybrid SIM tray, which means whether you can install dual sim at the same time or you can install one sim and one micro SD Card in it.

We get Antutu Score of 29601 and certain other scores are also decent. We are getting all sensors in this price range what is normally required. I have attached all the images which you see over here.

Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games but in low or medium setting, playing games on high-end graphics will only give you frame drops, this is because the main USP of the phone is it battery and main focus is on person who needs more battery with better built and latest Android support. Normal gaming will work perfectly, normal usage work really well. Rest, in this price no other brand is offering such battery life in such great built.

Camera

InFocus turbo 5 comes up with 13 MP rear Camera which captures decent images if we compare it with other devices with same price segment. Rest, I have already posted camera Samples so that you can get better idea that how is the actual quality. Photo Clarity has proper details and natural colors. The focus is decent.

I will suggest the brand, to work a little bit on camera application or to add stock camera application because using normal camera application give you lag but as soon as I download a third party application it works quite well with some good shots. We can record videos for maximum resolution of 720P.

Coming to the front facing camera of 5MP which also capture decent shots. If we are using the camera in daylight, it will take shots really great but in low light don’t expect more but still it take alright shots. Rest, in this budget nothing more can be expected.

Software

InFocus Turbo 5 is loaded with Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. With 2/3GB ram the UI works well but sometimes on high-end usage you may find little but lagging still the device can handle normal multitasking on the phone. The software is loaded with some bloatware which we can always disable and uninstall same like other devices. They have tried to optimized the UI quite well. But sometime due to the processor load it get bit laggy, but after few moments it get better when cache is made for particular apps. Rest, Everything will work fine for normal users.

Battery

Coming to the main usp of the phone which is its 5000 mAh Battery which works really well. It took me 3.5 Hours to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger. Charging a budget device that too with 5000mAh Battery is really great. Rest all what we can expect from it.

Coming to the battery performance, on normal usage it will easily last you for more than 2.5 days and on heavy usage it will surely going to last you more than 1.5 days which includes heavy gaming, surfing, chatting, videos, movies and other stuff.

SHARP launches Air Purifier with Plasmacluster & Dehumidifying Function

SHARP, the harbinger of some revolutionary and innovative technique of air purification, recently launched its new air purifier DW-E16FA-W. This product is inbuilt with patented plasmacluster ion technology which not only helps in air purification but also in dehumidification of the place where it is installed.

The air purification part consists of the plasmacluster, carbon filter and HEPA filter. The HEPA filter used here is true HEPA filter which helps in removing dust particles, smoke and pollens. The product contains an additional laundry function which is used in monsoons when the clothes do not dry properly. It works with plasmacluster technology which helps in getting rid of the smell as well as the mould from the clothes. Carbon filter helps in cleansing the atmosphere of the room.

Transsion Holdings which was established in 2006, is a diversified hi-tech conglomerate well known for its leading technology brands which include TECNO, itel and Infinix. This global company announced a joint venture (JV) agreement with Spice Mobility, an integral part of Spice Group. With the help of this joint venture, Spice Mobility is said to make a comeback in the Indian market including Transsion’s multi-brand strategy. The JV was signed today by Mr Lin Qin, Vice-President of Transsion Holdings and Mr Dilip Modi, the executive chairman of Spice Mobility.

Spice used to be one of the popular mobile operators in India in 1998. A fragment of Spice Mobility i.e. Spice mobiles came into the market in 2004 and started disappearing from the shelves as several other mobile phone companies from China came with economical devices and gained popularity. This partnership aims to restore the ‘Spice Brand’ by including the strengths of both the companies to provide a new and influential experience to the users. These companies are looking for various strategies on the distribution of mobile phones throughout the country which is also focused on fulfilling the needs of the various users.
