A Guide to Creating Your First Digital Marketing Strategy

0

Most successful modern companies have an online presence using digital marketing strategy. The right digital marketing tactics, platforms, and tools can help a brand compete with its rivals and generate a significant sum.

Guide for Digital Marketing Strategy

Guide for Digital Marketing Strategy

However, if you have limited marketing experience, you might not know how to grow your brand in the search engines or across social media. So, get your business off to the best start with this handy guide to creating your first digital marketing strategy.

Perform a SWOT Analysis

If you’re unfamiliar with the SWOT technique, it stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to your business and your chosen market. Before kickstarting a digital marketing campaign, you must perform a SWOT analysis to identify your company’s potential obstacles, USP, and areas for growth.

Start by gaining a deeper understanding of your customers’ needs and if they are catered to in the industry. Plus, you must learn about their digital habits, popular influencers, and commonly used competitor tactics to pinpoint undervalued marketing platforms or techniques.

Set SMART Marketing Goals

After reviewing your company and the marketplace for strengths and weaknesses, you must establish annual goals for your brand and action them. It should provide a strict timeline for growing your company’s brand recognition, reputation, and revenue.

The more specific your goals, the more time and effort you’ll put into making them a reality. For example, don’t pledge to a generic goal, such as increasing your social media followers each month. Instead, you must set specific SMART goals, such as, “I want to generate 2,000 followers per month, and I’ll need to publish X number of posts per day and run X number of competitions.”

Execute Various Marketing Strategies

If you want to earn and retain customers, you must adopt various marketing strategies for different platforms, such as:

  • Social media
  • Email marketing
  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Content marketing
  • Web optimization
  • PPC

It is vital to master the above areas to secure many leads and customers. For example, if you want to develop an active presence on social media, you’ll first need to launch various business accounts on the likes of Instagram and Facebook.

If you’ve never opened an Instagram business account, you might wonder if you will need one. However, it can provide brands many extra benefits, such as CTAs on a business profile to encourage web visits or product purchases, the ability to create ad campaigns, Instagram Shopping access, a swipe-up feature on Instagram Stories, analytics, and much more.

If you have limited knowledge on how to run various marketing strategies, many resources are available to boost your knowledge, such as industry articles, eBooks, infographics, webinars, how-to videos, and more.

Analyze Your Marketing Results

Don’t sit back and hope for the best after executing a marketing strategy. Instead, make an informed decision on future tactics by analyzing the results of a social media post, email newsletter, or link-building campaign.

Measuring every action can help you identify the tactics that earned your company the greatest return on its investment. You can then avoid poor-performing techniques or platforms and focus on the options that generate the best results for your business.

Facts You Never Knew About Streaming Services

Streaming service usage during the pandemic year of 2020 rose to soaring heights. People that have cable are slowly turning their services off and switching to streaming, and live streaming, companies. Grand View Research claims that by the year 2028 streaming will grow to $223.98 billion in net gross. The younger generation watches more streaming events than the older ones, but it is said that ¾ of American households use at least one streaming service.

Netflix is probably one of the biggest streaming services. In 2007 they started moving their service from online DVD sharing to streaming movies online, with a subscription. What many people don’t realize, though, is that Netflix was not the first company to stream.

Best Movies to Watch on Netflix
Netflix

Back in 1995 RealNetworks live-streamed a baseball game between the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners. It was not as well known, or as popular, but it was started as soon as computers were able to play them. Netflix was the company that caused the huge boom of streaming. The other companies such as Hulu and Disney that followed have started what is now known as the “Streaming War”.

The move towards streaming was the main cause of stores such as Blockbuster being forced out of business. Once movies and live videos were made available to the public, droves of people began streaming, instead of taking the time to go to a store. The companies that did not get on the streaming bandwagon faded into history as technological advances made computers and mobile devices that allowed consumers to watch anything that they wanted while at home, or on the go.

Streaming Services

One of the facts you never knew about streaming services is that they are not only used for personal use. Businesses all over the world are starting to use platforms that allow them to have meetings, learning seminars, sales pitches, and even job interviews. 80% of today’s marketing professionals say that streaming services are an extremely important aspect of business, according to 4cInsights.

Companies have begun to rely on streaming. Executives can be oceans away from each other and stream live feeds to discuss their needs. This saves on travel expenses while allowing them to continue running their business on-site.

As with everything that moves society forward, there is a huge downfall. Rolling Stone’s author Jon Blistein has estimated that the greenhouse emissions from streaming, just in the United States alone, is a damaging 200 to 350 million kilograms per year. As the amount of streaming goes up, the damage to the Earth will increase. Advances in streaming technology may lower this number soon, but for now, the damage is being done every day to the atmosphere.

Streaming is an advancement that people from all over the world are taking advantage of. The days of trying to watch a scratched disc are over. Trying to load a game with a CD repeatedly on different machines is no longer a stressful situation because of downloadable versions.

People play games together from different locations through live streams. Business travelling expenses can be budgeted towards new and better software instead. The future will hold even more technological breakthroughs in the streaming industry, making the last few people of the older generations give in and move towards these convenient online services.

Why Do You Need Application Modernization?

Businesses usually fall into one of two categories. The first one is active, where you actively trade time and resources to create a product or a service. The second category is focused on passive income. In this scenario, you invest a lot of time and resources to create a system that will keep making you revenue even when you’re sleeping. This can only be done by Application Modernization.

Most people would want to create a business that falls into the latter category. This includes creating an online store, an application, or a website with a lot of articles and clickable ads, and affiliate marketing. Your company had a leap of faith and invested in developing and launching an app.

As soon as it gets to the Play Store or the Appstore, you might think to yourself that it’s time to sit back and enjoy the profits that are going to start rolling into your bank account. That’s not the case. When it hits the market, that’s the moment when you should invest even more time and money into keeping it up to date.

Your app is only as good as the last update, and you need to make new ones on a regular basis to keep it relevant. It’s a never-ending cycle that focuses on keeping engagement high and usability on a pristine level.

How many times should you issue out updates?

Application Modernization

When dealing with updates, it’s not wise to look up to companies like Instagram, Facebook, or Messenger. They are conglomerates and monopolies in their industry. This means that they can get away with more than three updates in a month.

If you’re just entering the market, this is only going to make your users angry and dissatisfied. Plus, making updates is costly, and if you want to issue out new versions each week, that’s going to be a waste of effort, money, and time. Follow this link for more info.

The most important metric you should pay attention to is customer feedback. If people are writing reviews that something is not working, then you should be working on fixing the problem. Another metric to look at is data.

If people are suddenly stopping to use the app, it means that something is broken. The cost of making tweaks usually falls into 30 percent of the initial budget. Here are some of the reasons why you need to modernize the process.

Keep the audience happy

During development, you might think that your software testers will find all of the bugs. That’s never the case. Even a team of all of the QA testers in the world can’t anticipate what’s going to crash when an app enters the market.

Again, look at the updates that top companies are issuing out. Most of the time, there are crashes, and most of the tools and features don’t work as they’re supposed to. The userbase is so used to these kinds of problems that they’re frequently making memes to make fun of new updates. That might not be the case for you.

At the start, you need to focus on getting feedback and knowing what features are liked and which ones are disliked. Always look for criticism because everything can be improved, especially virtual products. If you listen to the people, they will reward you with more engagement and loyalty. Having loyal customers is something that will do wonders for your analytics, especially if your software is being developed in stages.

Keep bugs under control

Every app has flaws. It doesn’t matter how much you test it; there will be a few problems that remain and go through the debugging methods. Your users are mostly worried about how quickly you can resolve the issues that they found but fortunately, there are application modernization services that can help you.

If you reply to their feedback and start working on the issues, they will be more than happy to wait for you to resolve them. If you know that an application is full of bugs, and you don’t do anything about it, there’s a high chance that they’ll uninstall the app.

Subtle UX changes

Most app modernizations aren’t even noticeable for the users. This includes processes like faster load times, fixing issues with image displays, making one button a few pixels bigger, adding a bit of padding and margins, and similar tweaks.

These changes are super subtle, and the people who have auto-updates turned on will have a smoother experience without even knowing what happened in the background. If something works, don’t change it. No one likes drastic changes. Things like switching the main themes and colors are a big minus when it comes to how users perceive your brand.

Keep being relevant

Because the average attention span is dropping, you need to find ways to improve marketing. Updates are one method because you get to see which applications got improved. The more space you have in customers’ minds, the better results you’re going to have.

Step-by-Step guide for CentOS GUI process

CentOS 8 install gui on minimal

[toc]

Start Gnome desktop from the command line

Being new in the field of web hosting and server setup is when a lot of easy things seem complex because you are doing them for the first time. Things get even more difficult when you are not dealing with the graphical user interface and using the command-line interface.

So, if you are looking for the CentOS 8 install GUI process here, we will discuss everything ranging from the requirements to finishing the CentOS GUI process.

Software requirements for CentOS 8 install GUI process

CentOS 8 is an open-source operating system that is currently used by many web and vps hosting environments to deploy several types of web servers and databases. So, if you are getting in the field where CentOS 8 is required, it will be amazing to learn installing GUI with the Cantos 8 method as the process gets very easy with the graphical user interface.

First of all, it is very important to know the software requirements. The following are the minimum software requirement provided by CentOS 8:

  • Minimum of 2 GB of ram
  • A processor of 2 GHz or higher
  • 64-bit x86 system for installing CentOS 8
  • 20 GB Hard Disk

If you have a system that fulfills all of these requirements of CentOS 8 software, then you can proceed with the step-by-step guide for the CentOS 8 install GUI process.

Step-by-Step guide for CentOS GUI process

Installing a GUI on a CLI-based system may look complex, but things get very easy once you divide the process into steps. So, here we have divided things into simple steps with separate commands for each step so that you can easily get the installation process done. So, here are the steps that you need to follow

1. Refreshing the packages

When you install GUI on RHEL 8, you need to first start with refreshing the packages. It is nothing more than running the system update command. What doing this step will do is that it will ensure that all the packages available on your system or the server are latest and up to date so you can run any of these commands:

  • dnf update
  • yum update

When you run these commands when you install GUI on RHEL 8, your first step of the process will be done.

2. Listing the CentOS 8 desktop environments and groups that are available

The next step of the process is the one that is not that important for the installation process. Still, it is good to do so as it will provide you with complete information about the environmental groups available. Here is the command that you need to run to for continuing with CentOS 8 install with GUI process

dnf group list

When it comes to the system you are going for the CentOS 8 install with GUI process, there will be many CentOS 8 desktop environments and groups available like server, workstation. Moreover, many other groups and running the command above will show all of those environmental groups.

3. Gnome desktop environment installation

Now things will be starting to download and install as soon as you start with this step. When you are going to install Gnome on Redhat 8 with GUI, you will need to run the following command:

dnf groupinstall “Server with GUI.”

Running this command will start a download of packages that will be about 1 GB in size. These are the packages that you are going to install in the process. Along with the download, you need to run the following command for workstation deployment:

dnf group install “Workstation.”

Running this command will start the download of packages of 1.1 Gb in size. The workstation install Gnome on Redhat 8 package will be slightly different in size as it is more user-centric.

4. Setting the system to Graphical mode.

As you start this step, all of the complex and different things have ended, and you only need to go with the easiest. All you need to do is to wait for the installation process to complete. Here you need to run the following command:

systemctl set-default graphical

The Linux system or  will be set to boot in the graphical mode on default on running this command.

5. Rebooting the system to access GUI

Once you are done with the previous step, you need to reboot the system. The following is the command that you need to run:

reboot

once the system starts, you will need to log in with your previous credentials and enter the following command:

startx

Doing so will help the system recognize the packages that you have just installed, and it will also set the system to boot in graphical mode by default.

6. Logging in the system with the previously set username and password

After you are done with the above 5 steps, you will see the Gnome screen on CentOS. Here you only need to provide your previous username and password on the lock screen. You will also need to complete the initial operating system setup that includes simple things like language setup, data, time, and more.

By completing all of these steps, you have the GUI desktop environment on your CLI-based Linux system or linux virtual servers. Things will now be very easy and quick.

Conclusion

Getting Graphical User Interface for something that usually runs on Command Line Interface is a huge improvement, and things get very simple as soon as you get the change. Here we were elaborating on the steps for getting GUI installed and everything you needed to know in this regard.

How long will this process take from start to finish?

The time to finish the process depends on the speed of your hardware and internet connection. Apart from the booting and downloading time, running the commands is a matter of a few minutes only.

Ultrasonic Sensor Innovation And Use

If time travel existed and you could send a person from two hundred years ago into today’s world, they would die out of shock. Most of the things that we take for granted are unimaginable for people that lived before the information age.

We have planes, we have virtual reality worlds, and video games can simulate real life. You can reach anyone in the world with a device that can be carried in your pocket and see them with a minimal time lag. Some people have gone to space, and the internet is something that’s evolving every single day. Click here to read more.

This kind of achievement can’t be attributed to a single thing. Even though the computer age started with the invention of the transistor, no one could predict what would come of it. The same thing is true about sensors. These small devices are important in almost every element of our lives.

Monitoring, surveillance, security, and safety are just a few of those benefits. There are tons of industrial applications that are reliant on sensors. The same thing is true in medicine, where they’re used in public health, critical care, monitoring, and diagnostics.

Nowadays, new breakthroughs happen every day. In the future, we might be seeing technologies that rely on nanotechnology. This will help us make even smaller electrical systems. One of the most important sensors in today’s world is ultrasonics.

They’re devices that use sound waves to detect the distance to an item. A critical component is a transducer which allows the device to send out a wave and get a pulse back. This gives digital information about the proximity of an object. Because the waves are on such a high frequency, they reverberate off surfaces and create unique patterns.

What Ultrasonic Sensor, and how do they work?

Ultrasonic Sensor

The main functioning is quite simple. Almost all of the things we’ve invented were inspired by nature. We crafted planes because we saw how birds soared in the skies. After a few thousand years, humanity succeeded. Now, with better technologies, we can mimic nature better and improve upon certain flaws.

Ultrasonics was inspired by bats. Most people associate bats with vampires, but scientists love them because of the way they hunt and live. These night creatures are blind, and they use their voice to locate the food they’re going to eat. These high pitches can’t be heard by humans. The sensors that were invented mimic bats and emitted sound waves that are way above our hearing range.

These sound waves travel through the air and hit a surface. As soon as they hit a surface, they start coming back to the sensor, which measures the time it takes for the wave to go and come back. By using simple physics, the distance can be measured.

Most sensors operate on a 40 kHz pulse. Since the speed of sound is already known, when the time gets measured, the distance is calculated and presented to the user. You can go to SensComp to read more. Using these sensors is an excellent choice when it comes to detecting clear objects. Let’s say that you’re making a robot that needs to move on a table.

If you use infrared technology, it’s not going to detect glass or transparent plastic. Even if it does, it’s going to be too late. The same thing applies when you need to measure the depth of a liquid. When people wanted to find out the depth of the ocean, this was the method they used.

They can detect things independently of their substance, surface, or colour. It’s also a dependable alternative when it comes to detecting translucent objects where other optical methods could fail.

How can you avoid disruption if you use multiple sensors?

Using one sensor is often not enough for most applications. If you need to do a DIY project, it’s critical to prevent crosstalk when you’re connecting them to avoid interference. The most important thing to keep in mind is to maintain the cleanliness of the front part of the device.

This will reduce obstructions since the microphone will not become disrupted. The most commonly known issues happen when the device is exposed to condensation, ice, snow, or dirt. That’s why you can use a self-cleaning version that is more operational and is particularly developed for use in difficult terrain and conditions.

When should you use Ultrasonic Sensor?

Ultrasound is dependable in every lighting condition, and it can be used both indoors and outdoors. If you’re making a robot or a drone, you need to make sure that it’s not moving too rapidly. If the speed is not super high, it’s going to be the optimal solution to avoid collisions, even during frequent movement.

Because they’re widely utilized, they can be found in plenty of different industries. The most popular ones include automobile sensing applications, drones, detecting water levels, and grain bins. They can measure distance, position, level, and presence.

Plus, they can’t be influenced by different colours, dust, smoke, or light. The only exception, in this case, is wool which is a soft material that absorbs the waves. Ultrasound almost always outperforms infrared since they aren’t impacted by smoke and dark materials. As with anything in the world, they’re not perfect, but they’re a dependable system.

Mounting it in a tank

There are crucial considerations that you need to have in mind if you want to install this gadget into a liquid tank. The first thing is avoiding obstructions. The readings will become skewed if you place them too close to the wall.

Another thing to pay attention to is the filling of the stream. It might become an obstructive factor that you might not have considered initially. When installing, the location is the most vital thing of the entire application.

Make sure that it has a beam pattern that’s narrow because that will reduce the probability of the sensor detecting the walls. Some of the features of new designs allow you to choose targets that have the highest acoustic returns. In almost all cases, that’s the level of the liquid.

The Ultimate Guide to Rebates and Federal Tax Credit for Solar

Did you know that Idaho is a great state for solar energy? It’s true. Even though it’s not in the Southwest, with constant heat and sunshine, you can still maximize solar efficiency at your Idaho home, replacing your electric bill. You can also take Rebates and Federal Tax Credit for Solar energy.

And even if your electric bill isn’t replaced completely, it will be greatly reduced. This is because solar panels have become much more efficient in the last few years. So even if you’re in an area without as much sunlight, you can still generate a tone of power for your home.

And the best part? You can get a tax credit for solar panel installations. In fact, there are multiple solar incentives and rebate programs available to help you save money when you purchase solar panels and have them professionally installed.

Keep reading to learn how you can save thousands on your new solar energy system.

The Ultimate Tax Credit for Solar Panel Installation

Tax Credit for Solar

The best way to save money is with the federal energy tax credit. This tax credit is offered by the federal government and comes back to you when you file your next tax return.

Through this incredible program, you’ll get a 26% tax credit on your total solar installation cost. Considering that a solar energy system will likely cost around $10,000, that will save you thousands of dollars.

Currently, the government plans to reduce the tax credit to 22% for systems installed in 2023 before phasing out entirely in 2024. So now is a great time to install solar panels.

To get the solar tax credit, you’ll want to ensure you work with reputable solar providers to install the system. Don’t worry; the tax credit covers the cost of installation, too, not just the panels themselves.

Local Rebate Programs

Idaho residents can take advantage of the Residential Alternative Tax Deduction. With this, you can deduct 40% of the total cost of your solar installation, including both equipment and labour costs, from your personal income taxes.

Also Read: Tapping the Popularity of Solar Power Systems

Then, for the next three years, you can deduct up to 20% of the total cost each year, for a maximum deduction of up to $20,000. This makes Idaho one of the most attractive states for going solar.

Net Metering

One of the biggest benefits of going solar is the net metering program. If your solar system is connected to your power grid, which is where you get traditional electricity from, you can sell your excess electricity.

At peak times of the day, especially during summer, most solar-powered homes generate more electricity than they can use. So instead of wasting it, you can sell it to your utility provider in exchange for credits. Then, when you don’t generate enough electricity through your panels, such as nighttime, you draw electricity from the power grid again.

But instead of paying for it, you use up any credits you’ve earned. At the end of the year, you may even receive a check for any unused credits.

Don’t Miss Out

There’s never been a better time to install solar panels at your home. Not only will you feel great knowing that you are taking part in the environmental solutions that will leave the plane,t but you will also save a ton of money in the process.

Make sure to have your solar energy system installed as soon as possible, so you can take advantage of the federal tax credit for solar panels before it’s gone.

2021 Olympics Continue a Tradition of Cyber Threats

The flaming Olympics cauldron is dim for now, and the excitement of watching athletic prowess is a memory. But the decades-long tradition of cyberthreats on Olympics infrastructure and broadcasts continues. Here’s a summary of Olympic cyberthreats, past and present.

Cyberattacks on the Olympics Are Nothing New

Olympics

On July 19, 2021, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) published a warning about threat actors attempting to disrupt the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

In the message, the FBI mentioned that “…cyber actors who wish to disrupt the event could use distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, ransomware, social engineering, phishing campaigns, or insider threats…” related to the games.

Past Olympic threats

Far from being surprised, event officials regarded potential attacks as a by-now established part of the Olympics schedule. After all, organizers had been aware of cyberattacks for at least 20 years. So you could say that there’s a tradition of Olympics cyberthreats. A sample of recent disruptions include:

  • London 2012: Hacktivists launched thousands of coordinated devices in a DDoS attack (read here to understand the meaning of DDoS) meant to cripple the power infrastructure during the games’ opening ceremonies.
  • Rio 2016: The hacktivist group, Anonymous, promised DDoS attacks during the Rio 2016 Olympics, and they followed through. Attackers posed a false-alarm threat to the games’ power grid and stole athletes’ medical records from the World Anti-Doping Agency.
  • Pyeongchang 2018:  A cyberattack during the opening ceremony temporarily paralyzed internet infrastructure. A virus named Olympic Destroyer was the likely culprit. The attack affected television and internet (LAN, WiFi) services. In a separate ransomware operation called Gold Dragon, hackers used three different malicious tools to attempt threats to the Tokyo Olympics. Designed to gather data, Gold Dragon acts as a reconnaissance tool and creates a key that encrypts data collected from the Olympics network.

Has anything changed?

Tokyo Olympics 2021

As in the past, 2021 Olympics event organizers had to grapple with many types of cyber threats. Increased connectivity and other IT used in the games have made them more vulnerable to potential cyberattacks. Earlier attacks engaged in ticket scams disrupted services and stole athletes’ personal data. Some of that still exists, but now attacks focus more on event infrastructure and operations. The 2021 Summer Games continued this tradition, with DDoS attacks and malware taking centre stage. This time, the headline-grabbing attacks were driven by:

  • Wiper malware. During the 2021 games, security researchers reported finding wiper malware, which appeared to be aimed at Japanese users. However, the malware was less sophisticated software than that used during the 2018 Winter Olympics. And the sample’s relatively simple design and function suggest that attackers weren’t an advanced persistent threat or nation-state-sponsored hackers.
  • Social engineering. Just before the start of the games, security specialists confirmed that users of a webpage disguised as an Olympic television broadcast schedule were directed to a suspicious sports broadcast site. Later, a web search has confirmed that a fake page leads to the same type of suspicious sports broadcasting site.
  • Ransomware. The Japanese Olympic Committee claimed to be the target of an April 2021 ransomware attack, although a follow-up investigation showed that there was no ransom demand, and the JOC quickly replaced the infected computers.

That leaves the protection piece of the Olympics cyberthreat challenge. Although large-event operations are complex, there are established methods to protecting against cyberattacks.

Protecting Against Large-Event Cyber Threats

Effective cybersecurity solutions for large events start with these elements:

  • Centralized processes, which use single-point decision making and follow standard security principles and best practices.
  • Security controls such as identity and authentication management (IAM) and secure data storage, which prevent data leaks.
  • Strategies thatextend to third-party suppliers and the broader supply chain. It also helps to consider threats to other systems that may not be directly related to the event itself (ticket and reservation systems, for example).
  • Development and deployment experts such as software programmers, data storage specialists, installers, and systems administrators. These folks are experts in getting security systems up and running in a short time.
  • Testers (in this case white-hat hackers). They’re the good guys, who perform tests that identify and fix potential weaknesses of high-risk targets before the show begins.

That’s the setup part of the solution. But when an attack occurs, effective solutions must help to neutralize the threats of these exploits:

  • DDoS. Toneutralize DDoS threats, solutions monitor the venue’s data traffic. Anything identified as a threat is gathered and rerouted to a network of scrubbing centers, where malicious software and other traffic are analyzed and removed.
  • Ransomware. Advanced solutions use real-time alerts and blocking software, which automate the detection process. And standardized procedures help isolate infected machines and aid in data recovery.
  • Phishing. Immediate containment is the name of the game in response to phishing attacks. You’ll need a tough, automated solution, which offers a wide variety of actionable insights and alerts. Your goal is to examine reports that help you quarantine malware, which must be removed from your system and scrubbed as quickly as possible.

Real-time monitoring and reporting, automated alerts and detection, and rapid attack response cornerstones of modern cyberattack solutions. All are available in robust, automated solutions that are a click or phone call away.

Oneplus shows off Oneplus 3 Durability Test

So many companies have into the Bend Test and durability test differently. First, there was the iPhone 6 plus, where it caught in the bend test, and the video became viral; after that, new and new brands came up with their Oneplus 3 durability test, and the new example is Xiaomi.

A few weeks back, there was one more video by Oneplus in which they just throw down their phone from a helicopter, and it survives just like Motorola did a year back. According to the video, all the tests are being conducted by professionals and performed in a dedicated environment. They give caution that please do not attempt these tests at your home.

There will be a proper chance that your OnePlus 3 will break or crack, and you won’t be able to do anything.

So coming to the practical expect, any phone is there, if it is made up of plastic and metal it will show some scratches and crack. On the other hand, if the device is covered with full rubber, you expect nothing to happen to the device. But in this case OnePlus 3’s remains the same.

Is it worth buying the OnePlus 3 in 2021?

I personally do not recommend Oneplus 3 in 2021 as it is a very old phone, and you will find some lag in daily using your phone. But still, if you think you only need a smartphone for calling or basic WhatsApp then only you can go. Officially OnePlus company discontinue Oneplus 3 so you will get no service support as well.

Make Buying The Right Shoes A Shoe-In!

Professional athletes put a lot of emphasis on their shoes. Admittedly, they sometimes have commercial reasons for doing so, but the right footwear is a vital part of their complete toolkit for success. Thus, alongside training, diet and preparation, professional sportspeople pay close attention to their equipment.

Similarly to good quality tires on a car, the right pair of shoes offer a whole range of benefits to the wearer. While good tires offer better grip, control and lower fuel consumption, shoes also make for a surprisingly long list of advantages.

How can good shoes help?

Picking the right shoes from Nike stores in AU, for example, helps your feet by reducing the stress placed on them and reduces the likelihood of pressure points. This limits the chances of verrucae or painful corns developing. Well-ventilated shoes also help ensure your feet remain as dry as possible to avoid fungal conditions, blisters, or painful sores.

Good shoes are not just about your feet. Strong ankle support and the right fit inside the shoe can limit the stress on your joints, legs, and knees. This reduces the risk of injury and minor niggles as you play sport, run, or even walk.

Lastly, putting some effort into your search for new shoes can reduce pressure on your wallet! Finding the right shoes reduces your churn rate and will mean the ones you buy will last you a lot longer. Spoiler alert – it is not just about buying the most expensive shoe!

How will you use your shoes?

 Buying The Right Shoes
Buying The Right Shoes

With this in mind, the first question to ask yourself is how you plan to use your shoes. If the use will vary, such as walking to work and running 5 mile runs twice a week, the best plan is to buy two different types of shoes.

This approach will help in two ways. First, you will choose the right type of shoe for the two very different purposes. Second, you will be able to dry out your shoes properly to avoid putting on damp, sweaty ones, which can cause sores.

Even the most expensive running shoes will struggle on a technical mountain trek. Similarly, hiking boots will not be the most practical for walking the dog or getting around town. As well as negatively impacting the shoe’s longevity, wrong footwear choices such as this can also contribute to a lack of support for the ankle area.

Getting some advice

Once you have a shortlist of the types of shoes that might be a good fit for you, the next step is to do your own research online and read some other customer reviews.

Another resource is the staff in your shoe store – they usually have some level of training to advise you on the best shoes for your needs. Of course, with their sales targets in mind, they may try to steer you towards the more expensive options, but even with this in mind, they can still offer some good advice on what shoes best fit your needs. Even still, do not rely only on their advice – do your own homework first.

That’s not my job

If shoes could talk, they would be able to say, “that’s not my job”! For example, buying the top pair of running shoes and hiking a river trail in them seems like an obvious mistake, but it is pretty common.

You will be spending good money on your shoes from Nike stores in Au, so why get the wrong ones for the job? The best plan to avoid wasting your hard-earned dollars is to make sure you get the best pair for the use you have in mind.

The difference between walking shoes and running shoes is a particular mistake people make. Because they often look similar and are both made by the big brands, it can be tempting to think that one pair will be able to do everything.

But consider how much you will use your shoes for different purposes. The reality is that most of the time, during a normal day, you will be walking. Therefore, it may be advisable to buy yourself a separate pair of running shoes, especially when considering the biomechanical differences between running and walking.

Walking is the natural human motion, whereas running is a forced motion. This is why walking shoes are designed and made in a different way from running shoes. The latter puts a lot more stress on the feet, joints and ankles, and as such, the demand for running shoes is a lot more intense.

6 Ways to Boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode

OS crashing is not a rare issue. It often happens with us that we start our system, and it hangs on the start screen. The condition is even worse when it happens before we log in. After that, the system can crash anytime, no matter whatever be the reason. Your unsaved files or any sort of work can go in vain. Sometimes even the Ctrl + Alt + Delete doesn’t work. So, to make it work sometimes you need to boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode.

The only feasible solution to this problem is to boot into Safe Mode. So how to start windows 10 in safe mode? In safe mode, only the required files and drivers are loaded into the Windows, thus keeping away any other files or applications which may be causing the problem to your system.

Thus you should know how to boot your OS into Safe mode because who knows when you face a similar crashing situation. Every OS has different ways to boot into Safe mode. In this article, we will discuss 6 ways to boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode.

[toc]

6 Ways to Boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode

Always launch Windows 10 in Safe Mode

Boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode

One way to solve such a problem is to always launch windows 10 in Safe mode. Thus whenever you need to troubleshoot Windows, you can just restart, and it automatically boots into safe mode while starting.

There are many ways to do so. One way is to press Windows + R to open Run and then type “MSConfig” and click “OK” now; the System Configuration dialogue box will open up. Now under the Boot tab, select Windows 10 at the top. Now choose Safe Boot in Boot options. Keep Safe Mode Type as Minimal if you wish to access regular Safe mode.

Otherwise, you can also choose  “Alternate shell” and “Network” modes for launching Safe Mode with Command Prompt or Network access. Now click OK and do restart if you wish, or you can do it later.

This effect will be permanent, and your windows 10 will boot into safe mode every time you start it. If you want to change this, just go to the System Configuration dialogue box and uncheck safe mode under Windows 10.

Press F8 to Boot into Windows 10 Safe Mode

One of the best ways to boot Windows into Safe mode is by pressing F8 when the Windows is loading up. The only issue present here is that Windows 10 is comparatively faster than another version of Windows, so the boot is so fast that sometimes it may not even recognise the F8 keypress.

So overall, it depends upon your system configuration. If you have a PC that has an older BIOS or uses a hard drive instead of an SSD, then you might have a shot at this trick. So all you’ve done is to press an F8 key while starting your system, then you’ll see some startup options in which Safe mode will also be there.

Hold Shift and Restart

Hold Shift and Restart keyboard

Another method to enter into Safe mode is to hold the Shift key while restarting the system. You can do it by clicking on the power button. Now hold the Shift key and click on the Restart button.

This can also be done by choosing Restart options after pressing Alt + F4 or from the Sign-in screen. This will open some boot options from where you’ve to click on Troubleshoot and then choose Advanced Options. From here, click on Startup settings and then click on Restart to access advanced boot options.

The PC will now restart, and you’ll see a variety of advanced boot options from which you’ve to choose the fourth option, which says Enable safe mode. You can also choose other safe mode options if you need to. You can do so by using Function Keys.

Add Safe Mode option in the Boot Menu

You can also add the safe mode option in the boot menu using the command prompt. Firstly, you have to create an entry in the boot menu and assign the required Safe Mode. To create an entry in the boot menu, you need to open Command Prompt.

You can do it either by clicking on the Windows icon and then choosing Command Prompt (Admin) or just press the Windows + X key. Now the command prompt will open, type bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Launch Windows 10 Safe Mode” and press Enter.

This will create an entry in the boot menu with “Launch Windows 10 Safe Mode”. You can create multiple entries by repeating the same process. Now go to system configuration as we did in method 1 and repeat all the steps. Make sure that you’ve checked; make all boot settings permanent. Later if you wish, you can delete this entry from the system configuration.

Use a Windows 10 Recovery Drive

This method is useful where you haven’t created any setup to load your Windows into Safe mode. All you’ve to do is attach your recovery USB drive to your system and boot it. You’ll be able to see a screen saying, Choose an option. Click on Troubleshoot here, and the rest of the process is the same as what we did in Step 3.

Force Windows 10 to Load the Boot options

This method is a bit extreme but will be helpful if you don’t have a windows recovery drive, and other methods aren’t working as expected.

Our objective here is to prevent Windows 10 from loading 2-3 times, due to which it will automatically enter the boot menu from which you’ve to choose to Troubleshoot option and repeat Method 3.

To prevent loading, you can press the power button for a short time, so the system is forced to shut down. Then, press the button while the Windows is starting up or loading. Repeat this 2-3 times, after which you’ll see Loading Repairing Options.

Do not force shut down this time; just wait for the Boot menu options to load up. Now do as told in Method 3.

Conclusion

So these were some of the best ways to boot your Windows 10 into safe mode. We would recommend that use options to load safe mode as soon as the windows are starting.

If you don’t like to go to Safe mode at the start-up time, make sure you have a recovery drive. If you don’t have either not them, go with Method 6. If you know of any other tricks or hacks to load Safe mode, please let us know.
