Honor, is a sub-brand belonging to networking and telecommunications equipment and services company Huawei. Recently Honor’s fifth flagship phone- Honor10; the successor to Honor 9 was launched in China last month. As per the current news, Honor 10 is set to be globally unveiled at an event in London on May 15th this year. The company has officially disclosed nothing about the launch of Honor 10 in India; chances are that it is going to be launched this month, but the company has confirmed the pricing of a smartphone.

Talking about the specifications and design of the smartphone, Honor 10 has a design similar to iPhone X with a notched display. It sports a 5.84-inches full-HD+ 19:9 display having a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels. It measures 149.60 mm x 71.20 mm x 7.70 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs up to 153.00 grams. Also, this smartphone is leveraged by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 Octa-core processor and runs on an EMUI 8 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has two RAM configurations – 3 GB and 4 GB and features an internal storage of 64 GB. The device is powered by a 3400mAh battery. The company also brags about the use of artificial intelligence in the smartphone. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Honor 10 comes with a 24-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 24-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The price of this device in China is 2599 yuan for the 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage variant and 2999 yuan for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB one. The Honor 10 price in India is expected to be “around Rs. 35,000”. The smartphone will be available in the following colours- Black, Grey, Mirage Purple, and Mirage Blue. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart after its launch in India.

Oppo, the Chinese manufacturer is ready to announce its collaboration with Amazon India by launching a new powerful brand in India. Oppo and Amazon India, these two companies have partnered up to announce a new brand Realme. These two companies together have launched its first Realme branded smartphone named as ‘Realme 1’. The tagline of the brand will be ‘A partnership for the real me’. The company says that it will offer the ‘beautifully designed and power packed choice in the range of INR 10,000 – 20,000 India’ s largest marketplace, Amazon, India on May 15′.

“Realme satisfies the needs of online consumers through unique, exquisite design, leading specs, cutting-edge technology and overall better quality,” said the CEO of Realme India.

Realme 1 Smartphone To Be Launched By OppoThe design of Realme 1 looks very similar to Oppo A3 that was launched last week in China. The device is made out of glass and metal. The model is equipped with black diamondback sporting triangular cut patterns. It has a single rear camera with LED flash. It has a power/lock key on the right side of the device. The volume up and down buttons are on the left of the device. It features slightly rounded edges. The device has a front-facing home button which can also be used as a fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.0. Expanding its “Y” series, the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched “Y53i” smartphone on Monday. Vivo has used “Made in India” branding with the latest launch. The new smartphone is packing features like Face Access, Ultra HD technology and an eye protection mode. The Vivo Y53i is a budgeted phone priced at Rs. 7,990. The smartphone comes in two colour variants of crown gold and matte black.

Vivo Y53i features a 12.7-cm HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB onboard storage that is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The dual-SIM Vivo Y53i runs FunTouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Talking about the camera, it has an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing the camera. This device also has a Screen Flash feature that claims to provide detailed selfies even in low-light conditions.
